It's sad really. I look back frequently at as soon as 2012 and 13 and say "Man, the mainstream was actually good back in that day! What could have possibly happened to people's musical tastes that could make this trash music of today popular!" Seriously what happened... :(
October 26, 201510 yr I'd choose Ghost Stories over lots of the mainstream pop (oh wait ASFOS is part of that) even if I personally dislike the album. One thing I'd admit is that Coldplay's songs "last" as if they're still good until today, because most of the pop songs today are good for about a month or two (e.g. Uptown Funk, All About That Bass, etc) AROBTTH vs Island in the Sun (Weezer)
