I'm more concerned with the guys enjoying the concert and delivering the best performance they could. This is pretty much what matters to me. THIS. And what matters is also that the audience enjoyed the concert.

My guess would be they moved to Tumblr to avoid dealing with technical issues. Think about how often in the previous liveblogs how much of the time the posts were about how they couldn't get various things to work/post/etc. There's a lot less technical junk to wade through when you're not self-hosting that kind of thing. Just my opinion as someone who works in IT.

Just my opinion as someone who works in IT. plus, they don't have to worry about tagging each post with the time, since Tumblr would automatically do it. :P and that actually applies to other things as well, like posting photos. they don't have to upload them and then paste them into the live blog, they'd just have to upload to Tumblr and move on. i'd imagine it saves tons of time, especially when the blog is of the actual concert like that. a lot of times in the older blogs there would be huge gaps of time between updates once the concert finally started.

For the sake of continuity, it makes sense to use mostly songs from one venue, but if I'm them (which I'm not) I want the main stage from one venue, the C stage from another and the X stage from another. To get a nice cross-section of the tour. Just guesses and opinions though. I agree, and that would indeed be nice : ) ... Though I should say, if Rihanna was to play any extra song anyway, I'd love it they had chosen We found love. THIS! see i wasnt even joking, has he posted any other beverage? Probably :lol:

And it's not surprising that social media would comment mostly on Rihanna, as even if not everyone here likes her, she IS an international pop star after all. Sure, the crowd went crazy when she was there, but from where I stood anyway, the crowd sounded even louder during The Scientist for instance. It's the same as for the Grammys: she may have stolen some attention in the media, but in reality it was really a Coldplay show. And Umbrella was quite lovely, with the piano :wacky:
