I´ve never done this in coldplaying, but when I make a mixtape i make sure its something that they´ve never heard before or know what they´ll like by what artist they listen to. How do I know that? :sad:

^if they have a last fm, it should be easy. If they don't, maybe go through their posts and see what bands they like and think of some other bands they might not have heard before.

I would apply, but I'm so scared to review something other people have put so much effort to assemble and make it presentable. I've read some great reviews by users who are obviously very knowledgeable about music, who can describe nicely various elements of the songs, like the the chords, the progression, tonality and what not, and who I think expect nothing less for their mixtape. No, I don't feel ready to participate yet. Gah. That's so frustrating.

I am a mixed bag, love to hear different stuffs. Just so you know I've been a huge fan of Coldplay (obviously), Muse, Radiohead, U2, Depeche Mode, The Cure, Gorillaz, Snow Patrol, Arcade Fire, The Black Keys, Bat For Lashes, Phoenix, TDCC etc. I have heard almost all the songs by them. Feel free to put anything you think I have never heard. It's that simple!

I don't have a last fm (no point since I don't have an ipod), but just make any mixtape you want for me. It's always good to discover new music, that's the reason I do this thing! :)

At the moment my favorite bands are Coldplay (forever and ever), Vampire Weekend, Phoenix, The Strokes, The Black Keys, The Kooks, The Fratellis, The Temper Trap, The Two Door Cinema Club, Rooney, Muse... So that is a general idea... lol. I always enjoy listening to new music (even if it is old, it would probably be new to me...), so to my partner, feel free to put anything you like.
