Guess coldplay song

Featured Replies

And "I ran away" won't accept guesses, only well thought out educated deductions :) Hehe

Its a great riddle! Not sure I can have the time to re listen to the whole suite tonight. Maybe someone else will come with the solution in the meantime :)

Well I accept guesses on the Coldplay song of course, but not on the planets since that would make it too easy :D

And to help you along, here's another clue: It's not Neptune either.

I guess the bells could be bells of a church in Europe

this is very interesting, but too difficult to me. I feel it a bit like waste of time searching through all the live material of Coldplay in youtube for searching a sound of bells. Planets are nice, people can be nice, I hope we live in peace in this planet

But I hope this case gets revealed so we all can enjoy the solution of this mysterious secret

I'll investigate when I have more time but for now, my guess is In My Place or AROBTTH

I haven't listened quite yet but I bet you the song probably is from the viva era

Ah okay I think I found it!!! It's in the Saturn one around the 5 minute mark

Hmm it could be yes but those definitely sound like two notes to me, not four? What do you think?

Hmm I listened to the whole thing though and this is the only thing that comes close to bells- I think there also is one in Venus but the four notes change and it's definitely a harp so

Definitely bell like sounds in Saturn. Have we guessed Lovers in Japan yet?

The Saturn guess is correct !! Now you need to find this melody in a Coldplay song (and remember, it's only in the pre-release live version ! The riff is modified in the studio version, you won't recognize it there.)

It's not from the Viva Era.

JaytheBlue gets the credit for finding it. I just concurred. Is the pre-released live version on this site?

Pre release live version? Something off MX then? Agh honestly i don't really have a clue where to start!

Hmm no all the pics were post release. The last pic was from a concert during the Viva tour, but the song is not from the Viva era. Its from XY era :)

I thought maybe the background during the song would be recognisable? Apparently not, sorry then LOL Might as well post the ultimate clue then.

yeah hehe confused the two when posting.

That's why I'm so confused 'cause I just guessed this on the other thread.

But that my just opened my eyes a bit, knowing I Ran Away- I bet you that the song is from the X&Y era

Or maybe not :)

And it's not Speed of Sound.

The live footage is available on Youtube, and the concert was in Australia. (new clue !!)
