September 6, 201312 yr Wow I LOVE it!! It does remind me a bit of 'Luca', which Chris wrote for Natalie Imbruglia. Both beautiful melodies.
September 6, 201312 yr So what's everyone doing for the next three hours?Well if you must know, I'm currently setting up my printer :cheesy:
September 6, 201312 yr Was super confused, it became available in NZ last night and I was able to download it, but when I wanted to write a review it said it's not available in NZ yet... Didn't leak it partly due to a dodgy internet connection and some strict anti-piracy laws here in NZ. According to the new CP post it'll only be out here in 20 minutes- my guess is it went on sale here by accident somehow... not complaining haha. Anyway not sure if this is where we vote but it gets a 10/10 from me. The melancholic feel suites the movie well, and that final chorus is just epic. The guitar/ piano riffs at the end brings the song to a beautiful end! I love how the chorus isn't repeated too much, and the build up of the song. Got high hopes for LP6!
September 6, 201312 yr Atlas has already been made 'megahit' on the dutch radiostation 3fm => They'll play it every radioshow for a week, woot!

September 6, 201312 yr Yeah I can't find it either, they're probably uploading it to iTunes. I hope I'll be able to buy it before I head off to school.

September 6, 201312 yr Hey, I'm relatively new on the forum and have just been mostly lurking. Just heard Atlas in full for the first time, and I agree with you guys, it's absolutely awesome and does not need time to grow on you. Really beautiful build-up. Not disappointed! It's ok with me if this is a taste of LP6.
September 6, 201312 yr It's up on the US iTunes now. Not up in iTunes for me yet and I live in the US.
September 6, 201312 yr Author Official lyrics (from Coldplay.com): Some saw the sun Some saw the smoke Some heard the gun Some bent the bow Sometimes the wire Must tense for the note We're caught in the fire, say oh We're about to explode Carry your world I'll carry your world Carry your world I'll carry your world Some far away Some search for gold Some dragon to slay Heaven we hope Is just up the road Show me the way, lord, Because I I'm about to explode Carry your world I'll carry your world Carry your world I'll carry your world Carry your world And all your hurt Carry your world Carry your world
September 6, 201312 yr Just noticed that a snippet of the bass riff sounds a lot like this bit in Paradise: (bah-dah-bam!) Awesome!
September 6, 201312 yr Just heard the full thing in Absolute Radio! After only one listen I can say I love this song. It's got a little bit of each era in it. I hope LP6 follows the same kind of sound as this. That would be a great! One question though. Do we know who produced it (like, was Brain Eno involved)? Because that could be the same person whose producing LP6, if they have indeed started already.
September 6, 201312 yr Author One question though. Do we know who produced it (like, was Brain Eno involved)? Because that could be the same person whose producing LP6, if they have indeed started already. It was produced by Coldplay with Daniel Green and Rik Simpson. link
September 6, 201312 yr Those 2 are practically members of the band for a while, no wonder we got a good ol Coldplay song
September 6, 201312 yr Comment from a friend who didn't know this is going in Hunger Games: "It's really good. It could totally go in a movie."
September 6, 201312 yr My first thoughts after listening to Atlas twice: 1. Have to hear it together with the movie 2. Its not that catchy as i hoped it would be 3. The "carry your world"-Part is a bit to repetetive to me 4. Jonnys guitar part isnt that "epic" as many describe it 5. In the end,its a very relaxing song and that is a fact which helps me to forget about the negative aspects...
