Coldplay Announce Promo Tour!

Recommended Posts

Anyone planning on trying for NYC tickets? I am! I've been so nervous ever since they announced it, I usually don't have good luck buying tickets for high demand acts so I'm very unsure about how this is gonna go.

I already had my NYC trip planned (I live upstate) to go there on April 30th and stay until May 4th but now I'm just gonna leave midday on the 3rd and stay until the 6th....I don't mind not seeing them on SNL because 1.) I can just wait outside the studios because they all usually come out after the broadcast and 2.) they only play 2 or 3 songs on SNL anyways!

I get paid tomorrow so hopefully the tickets don't go on sale for at least another day or two. Just wanna make sure I have my money first :D

Buuuuut yeah.....is anyone else as nervous as me?! I've been feeling sick all day today...

I'm hoping to buy a ticket, I'd do anything for just 1 ticket, its all I need!!

Question to people who get Cologne and NYC ticket :

I'm going to Tokyo show but I can't purchase tickets by myself.

The Japanese seller do not accept credit cards outside Japan and the whole site is Japanese only.

I have to contact tickets agent to purchase tickets for me but I have to give them every detail.

The question is what information do you need to provide to ticketmaster/ eventim?

I guess we need name/ phone no./e-mail and what else?

I don't want the whole thing to be screwed up because I didn't give them enough information.

Hi. I was wondering if someone could help me please? I'm confused. I live in the UK and want to try get a Coldplay ticket for the gig in Paris. How would I pay? Like, would everything be written in French?! Would the price be in Euros? If it is, does it mean that when I pay, the equivalent in English Pounds will come out of my account? x

I suggest you both take a look on the official ticket sites to see what to expect. Maybe wait until we know when tickets go on sale and on which website.

You usually need to make an account. It helps to do that beforehand, and Chommy, that way you can see for yourself what they need to know.

I'm from the Netherlands and had a similar situation when I wanted tickets for Cologne (in Germany). So a day before they went on sale I tried buying tickets for some random artist to practice. I stopped when I had to fill in my credit card details. That's usually when the tickets are reserved for you, so at that point you're in the safe zone.

If you don't finish your payment they will automatically cancel your order after about 20 minutes.

Yes. They're probably used to foreign buyers.

For anyone that goes, could you please keep us (or at least me) updated on if they are selling any new band merch at these concerts! I'd assume they would, but I have heard of bands simply not selling anything at all :/ which is disappointing. I also know most likely there will be new stuff on their store but I JUST DON'T WANT TO WAIT.

BUT THIS IS (North) AMERICA, I WANT IT NOW.

Thank you so much.

Can you create an account in one's name and put another's name on the ticket?

Or the name of the account and name on the ticket has to be the same.

I can only tell you what I know.

So the Cologne tickets had to be personalized. On Eventim I don't remember filling in a separate name for that. I think your details have to be the same for your account and tickets. You can change your details while you're buying, but then they get changed in your account as well.

However, I just practiced buying personalized tickets through Ticketmaster. There, you can fill in any name for personalization, which is the name on the ticket. So based on that, the name on the ticket can be different than the address they send the ticket to (but again, address = account).

So it depends on the website (and possibly the country and artist). Just practice when you know more!

By the way, if I try to get tickets for Germany via Ticketmaster, I need to make a seperate account for the German website. You can view that website in English though.

Thanks. :nice:

However, there's no Ticketmaster in Japan.

The tickets seller is ticket pia, even though I can use google chrome to translate the site, I have to fill all information in Japanese character.

I wonder if Coldplay will be a part of this again this year?

I visited the Coldplay Concert in Cologne, it was sooooooooo fantastic, I'm still completely flashed by the performance, the songs (simply everything)... :-)

I've a problem, perhaps somebody can help me...

It seems that they sold Tour T-Shirts of the Promo-Tour... Because I was so focused on getting a good place to stand (I'm a real small person, you know...) I haven't seen the store where to buy these shirts...

Can somebody who goes to one of the other concerts buy me one T-Shirt??? Please contact me via PN when you're willing to help me...

Thank you in advance!

Greetings,

Claudia
