Links to the interviews and multimedia threads are inside the article Major talking points - Next tour in a 'couple of years'. - There was another video to A Sky Full of Stars, filmed a week before the Sydney one but it was "messed up" and it wasn't right (the one presumably in the shop window) - One of the reasons for not touring much recently was that the band wanted to break the cycle of touring, they did not want the same pattern of a tour every few years. The band felt this was right and it would make sense when the next tour starts to happen. - Chris has a special outfit which has come through the mail and plans to use it during one song at the upcoming Vegas festival. He can’t reveal any further details! (Rumour mill – iHeart – True Love – clip for official video, Chris dressed as a heart?! Your thoughts please!)

I thought that Guy might be busy with his wedding arrangements too :surprised: Isn't it strange that Chris mentioned that the 4 of them decided not to tour this album, but he loves performing the new songs so he is gonna make that solo show! I thought it was the opposite, with him not wanting to sing those heartbreaking personal songs so often..:thinking: & what on earth is that outfit he is talking about? & for which song? A new song maybe?

July 26, 201412 yr The trouble is with the two year wait(IF it ends up being true) is the GS era was so short and we've waited a couple of years between mx and gs.
July 26, 201412 yr I don't think they wait another two years to start a tour, I understood it as in that in two years they will be in the middle of a big tour. Maybe they will start sometime next year. Remember what Jason, the one who works with the Xylobands, said on Twitter when they finished the New Year's gigs in NY in 2012? He said something along the lines of "that was the end of MX tour, there won't be another tour til 2015" something like that. (He got lots of frustrated tweets his way cause at the time Coldplay had not officially cancelled the Latin American Tour, it was still "postponed" :rolleyes:, and fans were really confused) Anyways, so maybe he only meant they will be on tour in two years time, not that they will start the tour in two years time. I don't even want to think about waiting any more...

It's not unusual for bands at their level to tour relatively infrequently. They're now firmly established as one of the biggest acts on the planet, don't need the money, don't need to fight to maintain their career status and all have small children. They're in a position to take some time off and it looks like that's what they want to do right now.
