I think they had an invitation for the event. I doubt any regular fan who happened to show up tonight would have been let it. How they got themselves an invitation is a mystery :P Never in a million years would I be so lucky.

The exhibition will take place at 17 Osborn St, Shoredich, London, E1 6TD. It will be opened with a private view with the band in attendance on 3rd Dec. It will then be open to the public from 4th Dec - 7th Dec.

Jonny's beard was really something! Was an amazing night, met all the band (minus Guy) and Phil. Chris gave a great speech which involved his usual humour about Guy selling their calenders and that Chris may of been on the Ghost Stories cover, then Guy but then went for Mila's artwork :)

 

I'll write an article about it soon when I get back from London, Mila's artwork is amazing!

He’s had a hectic schedule over the past few months, but on Wednesday evening Chris Martin decided to kick back with some friends.

The 37-year-old managed to put aside some time to attend a private viewing of Coldplay: Ghost Stories, an exhibition of artwork by Mila Furstova.

Dressed in a casual white top and black combats, the British crooner cut a cheerful figure as he mingled with fellow guests at the StolenSpace Gallery in London.

Kicking back: Chris Martin attended a private viewing of Coldplay: Ghost Stories, an exhibition of artwork by Mila Furstova, on Wednesday evening

 

He was accompanied by bandmate Jonny Buckland and his partner Chloe Lee Evans, as well as artist Mila, the person behind the band's latest studio album - a painting of a bird in flight.

 

 

Other guests at the exclusive event included Guy Berryman and Edith Bowman, who rocked a chic black coat and leather knee-length boots.

Meanwhile, Chris and his band mates are finally turning their hand to movie making after introducing a music video with multiple endings.

The interactive visual accompanies their latest single Ink and proves the 18-year-old band are still as contemporary as the market-leading boyband competitors.

Coldplay - made up of Chris, Guy Berryman, Jonny Buckland and Will Champion - has introduced the extra gimmick to the fourth single from 2014's best-selling album Ghost Stories, which will be their sixth.

Coldplay's lead vocalist separated from his wife Gwyneth Paltrow in March, but reportedly began an on and off relationship with Hunger Games actress Jennifer Lawrence later that year.

He sings: 'Got a tattoo that said "together through life, Carved in your name with my poker knife

'And you wonder when you wake up, will it be alright oh oh, Feels like there's something broken inside.'

The video features more of an emotional tone after the accompaniment to the last single True Love saw Chris feature as a sumo-suited skateboarder.
