The Adversary 1039 Posted September 21, 2015 Lyrics about "I" for the simple fact I feel the lyrics on AROBTTH relate to me better vs the lyrics on X&Y. The guys wearing their own clothes vs Outfits/Costumes
AMDB9 4693 Posted September 21, 2015 That's a difficult one....but I'm gonna go with costumes because they contribute to what the specific era means.....and, when you think about it, the normal clothes of the early eras could be considered the "costumes" of their respective era. Will's background vocals vs Jonny's
I ran away 12777 Posted September 21, 2015 Will's background vocals. They complement Chris's voice better than Jonny's I think. In general I'd like to hear a bit more of Jonny, though ! melancholic Coldplay songs vs. upbeat Coldplay songs
The Adversary 1039 Posted September 21, 2015 You need a good mixture of both (Yin and Yang and all that ;) ) In general though, Coldplay do melancholy exquisitely, That's what made their early work so great. Sad songs with a rock edge. To me if someone said "Upbeat" Coldplay that would signify MX/ASFOS. In terms of their upbeat work, I much prefer the Viva era. LiJ, LiTii, The Goldrush. The piano bridge in Politik vs The guitar solo in Violet Hill
arushofjacktothehead 834 Posted September 21, 2015 The Piano Bridge...it's just beautiful (do love VH's solo though:cool:) Politik's bridge is part of what makes it an awesome and unique song. That, the lyrics and the BAM BAM BAM at the beginning:P The countdown at the beginning of Square One (Twisted Logic Tour) or the yellow balls in Yellow. The Adversary 1039 Posted September 21, 2015 Square One countdown for sure. Starfish vs Pectoralz
thetwinparadox 95 Posted September 22, 2015 Both are lame names tbh....but I'd go with Starfish because it sounds slightly cooler. A Whisper vs Green Eyes?
I ran away 12777 Posted September 22, 2015 A Whisper! I actually thinks it is really underrated. Chris singing from piano microphone vs. Chris jumping around with flexible microphone
penelopeja 9 Posted September 22, 2015 Piano microphone ...seems more intimate ... A-Ha tshirt or Indian jumper?
I ran away 12777 Posted September 22, 2015 I never saw an Indian jumper. Do you mean the Native American jumper though ? Tbh they are both ugly to me, but lets go with the jumper. Faultline collaborations vs. Avicii collaborations of Chris
penelopeja 9 Posted September 22, 2015 Yes I was referring to the Native American jumper... I'll go Avicii please... Triangle or circle?
I ran away 12777 Posted September 22, 2015 Triangle... Songs with a colour in the name vs. songs with no colour in the name
penelopeja 9 Posted September 22, 2015 Triangle for me too. Songs with colour in the name although they are all uniquely coloured anyway... Orange or yellow?
42Escapist 2128 Posted September 22, 2015 Yellow because, well... there's no Coldplay song with orange in its name. :D Ghost Stories cover art vs. A Rush of Blood to the Head cover art
penelopeja 9 Posted September 22, 2015 I was meaning colours in general but yes I see your point! Grrrrr that's very very difficult ...lol... Ghost Stories for its beauty and depth...AROBTTH for its surrealism... Ghost Stories...it's just extra very extra special... Student or teacher?
alisbe 3910 Posted September 22, 2015 Teacher, because Liam Gallagher said Chris looked like a Geography teacher. The Oracle vs Anchorman Ps. Penelopeja remember that the game is about things related to Coldplay ;)
AMDB9 4693 Posted September 22, 2015 The Oracle because he answers our burning questions.... Life in Technicolor vs Life in Technicolor ii
42Escapist 2128 Posted September 22, 2015 Life in Technicolor ii By the way AMDB9, the Oracle is actually a she named Debs Wild. As Coldplay tweeted a little while ago, without Debs they might not be here today. She's more than simply The Oracle... she helped the band get discovered. :) Warning Sign lyrics vs. Trouble lyrics
I ran away 12777 Posted September 22, 2015 Trouble lyrics. They relate so strongly with me and make me think of one particular person. Don't Panic rendition without harmonica vs. Don't Panic rendition with harmonica
AMDB9 4693 Posted September 22, 2015 Life in Technicolor ii By the way AMDB9, the Oracle is actually a she named Debs Wild. The Adversary 1039 Posted September 22, 2015 Don't Panic rendition with harmonica 100% in tandem with Chris playing the rhythm on electric guitar like during the AROBTTH tour! UK Trouble video vs US Trouble video
beastwars 545 Posted September 22, 2015 I don't remember which is the one that is not similar to the "Don't Panic" one. I choose the one where it is all dark ecc ecc curly Chris vs Chris with hair cut
Salounimohanty 2 Posted September 22, 2015 I would say i prefer Chris with the haircut, also during Parachute era when he barely had any hair [emoji23] Somehow i think curls suited Guy better than Chris. The haircut makes him look more mature and neat. Which interviewer do you think was ruder? [emoji23] Zane Lowe while interviewing Chris for BBC radio 1 and Elvis Duran interviewing Chris and Jonny during the iHeart Radio Festival.
I ran away 12777 Posted September 22, 2015 Only saw parts of the Zane Lowe interview, but didn't appear rude to me. Duran's Interview on the other hand was very low-level, I go for Duran. Lovers in Japan (album version) vs. Lovers in Japan (Osaka Sun Remix = Prospekt's March Version)
penelopeja 9 Posted September 22, 2015 Duran is the only one who should be embarrassed by that interview. In their true humble, beautiful form Chris & Jonny didn't even bat an eyelid. Just reflected even more how sweet they are. I think I'll go for Lovers in Japan (Osaka Sun Remix) ASFOS Official video or ASFOS unofficial video?
