If someone you knew had something like big to tell you, would you preffer it if they told you for example like they are totaly in love in with you. Would you preffer it over the phone. Over the phone or face to face. And for auguments sake lets say your were at least 3000 Miles away

If it was something they really needed to tell me but they were putting it off until they could find a way of reaching me to tell me face to face, I'd rather they told me by phone rather than waiting.

There are advantages and disadvantages of both.. for example if he told you over the phone you would never know what's the expression of that person face, and it would loose a bit of spontaneity (sp?).. but you would have more time to react and if the situation get ackward you have more of a chance to end the conversaton.... but if you ask me i think face to face would be better because you can see what the other person thinks right the way by that's person corporal language... me thinks it's better :/

i would rather here it face to face, although i am a bit shy. its harder to tell something face to face than to hear it. i would say wenever possible, tell important things to someones face. just my opinion :) .

ideally it's obviously got to be face to face, but if it's a long distance like you said, it's much more realistic to do it over the phone...

Yeah, if you're really far away and it's hard to wait, use the phone.

But, definitely, face to face is better. Some gestures or looks can express more than words...

If the distance is such an issue... use a webcam :)

Yeah especially if you're breaking up with the person. Doing over the phone is verrrry cowardly. :confused:

i say that the webcam would be a good idea if you can't be face to face, and you could also do an audio conversation or be on the phone as well. :)

Face to face. Telephones are the devil, they scare the hell out of me... seriously, i dunno, telephones are so annoying... Like when you wanna talk to your friend and his/her mum answers the phone and you have to talk to her first... so boring... The only good thing about phones is that you can prank call people. That's the funniest thing ever.

Face to face. Then you can kiss them if the opportunity presents itself ..... lol
