i love both versions, but i definitely see what you mean

i do remember we once had a discussion about how Talk is a song that's never really been played well live, that there's an energy to it that just doesn't come across in most live versions. i feel like that is also the energy that's missing from this version of it - so really, my point is, i wonder what it would be like to hear a live version of the alternate Talk? :p

but to me the album version has much more energy than the alternative one...

that's what i meant, the album version has more energy

but that energy is not conveyed well live. so since the alternate one already doesn't have that energy, would it sound better live than the album version does live? :p

Posting it again in case someone missed it (gotta get that message home ! :P):

BREAK AFTER THIS SONG

DO NOT STOP THE MP3 FILE

THERE IS A BIT LESS THAN 8 MINUTES OF SILENCE (=BREAK) SO JUST KEEP PLAYING

Actually, it's the other way round. The album version of Talk is earlier than this one.

really? That's interesting. There was probably other versions as well that they had to choose a "best talk" from...

It is softer, has more a flow (if you understand what I'm trying to say)

lol time to get my morning done in 8 minutes ahahaha

I haven't heard most of this songs. It was a great surprise to know there's a different version of talk followed by a different version of Spies. Love both songs but my favorite one is Spies. There's something about this song that I like, I really enjoy listening to it. Maybe it's Chris' voice.

And I need both versions on my phone!

Spies just ended for me :)

I will come backin 7,5 minutes then.

I'm going to pick up my stuff that I threw in when arriving home. :D

I might be too used listening to the album version.

But I have the feeling that the lyrics in this version don't match with the music.

The album version is more cleaner, powerful

Agree. It’s like something is missing but at the same time sounds like it has a lot of sounds going no where like everyone is playing a different song.

Back :D is this harmless? Not meaning to annoy you I ran away, I'm just guessing out loud lol.

Harmless

I love that piano

"You were helpless, I know you'll get through", sometimes it really is that case, you can't do anything more but just know they'll get through it :(
