I ran away Posted February 18, 2017 Author Share Posted February 18, 2017 i love both versions, but i definitely see what you mean i do remember we once had a discussion about how Talk is a song that's never really been played well live, that there's an energy to it that just doesn't come across in most live versions. i feel like that is also the energy that's missing from this version of it - so really, my point is, i wonder what it would be like to hear a live version of the alternate Talk? :p but to me the album version has much more energy than the alternative one... It was a great surprise to know there's a different version of talk followed by a different version of Spies. Love both songs but my favorite one is Spies. There's something about this song that I like, I really enjoy listening to it. Maybe it's Chris' voice. The album version is more cleaner, powerful Agree. It’s like something is missing but at the same time sounds like it has a lot of sounds going no where like everyone is playing a different song.
