It's so funny, beacuse this song has so many different patterns, and they just somehow manage to all blend them together. It's impossible to notice all the patterns at one time, althought it helps hearing all the layers if you turn it up. Such an amazing song in terms of instrumentation.

This, along with Square One, has one of the best last verses

The way that Chris Martin sings this part is excellent. One of my favorite lyrics and vocals.

And that lead-in to Fix You...

This bass feels a bit more "natural" as in it's like each note was played individually and not repeated on a computer (To my ears)

Fix You. Arguably the best of X&Y.

Sorry, got off track when Up and Up suddenly decided to play on my ITunes! White Shadows not one of my favs, but here comes FIX YOU! I was recovering from my first back surgery when this album came out. This song always makes me want to cry because I'd lie there in pain and listen endlessly!

Fix You is a classic. I'll never get tired of listening to it!
