In my little area by the bathroom it's not too bad. We figured that was a good place to stand if it turned into a tornado, or if one of us had to pee. Lol

They're letting people back to their seats! Bringing paper towels with us to dry off our seats.

So apparently the show got cut short due to weather. After AOAL they went straight to ASFOS.

Interesting, I don't think I've ever heard of Coldplay cutting a concert short due to inclement weather. Oh well, at least the fans got to see most of the set. 19 songs are better than none!

On a side note, it looks like they played a Blues Brothers song early on! Sweet Home Chicago. :)

It wasn't their decision. They didn't want to stop playing or at least that's what I understand in the periscope stream.

Coldplay shared a video of the performance of Sweet Home Chicago

Yes, it was like a special history-making event we were all a part of. Very cool to hear Chris talking to the audience and band about what they should do. "Shit, I don't know, we've never been in this situation before." (Or something like that.) [emoji6]

I'm heading back there now for night number two. Hoping we don't have a repeat of last night's weather (my shoes just dried out) LOL but it'll be fine either way. The fans were all so cool about it, and it was fun to chat with people who were all in the same situation, like a bonding experience. [emoji4]

I was there last night. I was bummed the openers were cut, but so happy Coldplay got almost a full set in. I was convinced that they would get 5 songs in and have to stop because the radar did not look very nice around 8:00 last night. brobbins is right on about the feeling in the stadium for the show. Everyone sort of just took the weather situation for what it was and made the best of it. The place was electric when the band came on stage to start the show. I don't think I've ever experienced anything quite like last night. It was definitely one for the memory books.
