I still love that album. When i first moved, i listened to it and it made me feel all comfy and relaxed. :)

it definitely is one of those relaxing albums :D

 

it has the unique quality of feeling summer-gentle-breeze-blowing and cosy-winter-night-with-warm-fire

Norah Jones' New Album?

 

Has anyone got this album yet?

 

I have her first (amaaaazing) album and wondered if the 2nd album is any good/different?!

I have it.

 

It's good but it's not as good, so it takes you a while to really warm up to it.

 

It's a solid effort in the same style as the first, which a little more folk/country influence (done well).

 

I still really recommend it, but you might be in for a slight let-down in your first listen to it.

The sound is actually very similar. If you liked the first one you will like the second one ...

 

... I just don't think you'll like it as much as the first one. Which isn't a put-down for the second album. The first was SO good that it would be near impossible to replicate.

 

But because that first was so memorable, this one takes a little while to get used to.
