I Love Chris as Much as You All Do But.....

 

God Almighty-he looks atrocious here! No wonder his marriage is on the rocks! Gwyneth would not be seen in public with someone looking like that. I know that maybe Chris doesn't care about his public image and all but there is something to be said for looking presentable at a big-deal event.

 

For all his sweetness, graciousness and good manners, Chris needs to buy a good white tux and just wear a white beanie with it, if he wants to try and act subversive.

That dude needs to grow his hair long again-those luscious curls were so angelic and gives him a younger appearance. Bad clothing can never disguise those blue Martin eyes-the color of heaven above. Pardon me while I swoon!:kiss:

Dissing Chris's style? I mean, jesus fucking christ, one of the greatest things about Chris is that he doesn't dress in what is called the "normal" way. Chris dresses the way he wants because he doesn't give a shit what other people think. That's right, you. He doesn't care that you silly girls are so "annoyed" with his style, he doesn't care what you think. He doesn't care what I think. If he likes it, he dresses in it. And that's a great way to be, I think. Because it's incredibly annoying people like you, I'm not going to name any names, that make life really shitty. Let him do what he wants and seriously, try to keep your opinions more to yourselves because honestly, we don't care if you don't like what he's wearing. I've kept my mouth shut for months now and every fucking time we get a new picture it's "EWWWH, WHAT IS HE WEARING OH MY GOD HE LOOKS SO WEIRD!" In my opinion the man could go out in a mustard-stained t-shirt and no pants and still look fantastic. It's not all about Chris's looks that make him a wonderful guy. It's his personality. If you don't like it really, it's his style. It's his personality.

Like you said his terrible style is who he is, I can only speak for myself but I find it endearing and any mention of it is with affection, certainly not disdain or annoyance.

 

Most importantly no-one is saying they don't like him or his music, or that he's a bad person.

He dresses badly and that's a fact. Expressing a point of view is what is done here, right. Agree or disagree that's a different story. But I must say the man makes dressing like a clown it's own art form so he's talented in more ways than one. And I agree, there is no mistaken those blue eyes and rosy lips ever! No one is saying he looks bad, but let's just say his clothes are "interesting".

I'd say to Chris' defence that he

a) just likes hoodies and

b) maybe chose one to not stand out so much in the attending crowd because Alicia Keys herself and the cause she's fighting for were the main attraction of the evening.

 

Can't remember who said it but I think it's true: If other people would have done that it would have been the new in-fashion!

Its a perfect example of why i like him, it makes me giggle, its something he would do... its... its... adorably quirky

 

i like that he dresses casual or mismatched.... its endearing and tells me he has other things on his mind... or he just DGAF.

I just have to say, i love these new pics of Chris and i love Chris in that outfit (or whatever he wears for that matter)! It's individual, quirky and a bit eccentric, just like him. He wears what he likes rather than to try and please other people and i love that about him.
