I hope the storm doesn't happen. Sharon got stuck at the airport and ended up driving. Getting lost in New York and didn't get there until VERY late! So I DO hope there is not snow today. Fingers crossed!

 

I do hope the gig is great though!

The fabulous husband bought me tickets to the Dec. 29th show in Connecticut for Christmas, so I will be flying out of here tomorrow morning to start the adventure! Yes, I'm more excited than I even know how to express in this short blurb, but it's also mixed with a good dose of nervousness because the Northeast U.S. is digging out from a major snowstorm, and something like 400 flights have been cancelled in the past 24 or so hours. So, you know you're addicted to Coldplay when you know they have to move those people before they get to you, you know bad weather is still happening there, you hate flying BUT none of that matters because Chris Martin is there!! Wish me luck!! :kiss:

What a day yesterday. Our initial flight was delayed and we couldn't make our connection, soooo, they changed our flight into another city at a later time. Thank goodness it was too much later. When we landed, however, we learned that our connecting flight from there (Philadelphia) was CANCELED. The reason...no crew. They put us on standby for a flight that left three hours later but said the probability of having two seats open at once (and being numbers five and six on the list) was extremely unlikely. So, we rented a car and began the 4hr drive. But the gps took us right through New York City which was an interesting experience to say the least! Plus, we hit every traffic snarl there is to hit. Over 7 hours later, we ended up here. I had the headache from hell. But...this place is freakin amazing!

 

Now, it's supposed to snow here today, and not a small amount, so I may be stuck getting out. Sigh.

 

The news that CP cancels because of bad weather would cause an explosion in Connecticut, so if you hear of one, it will be me. :\

No explosions yet ! No cancellations. She's there and very excited.

We got here too but we had to get a hotel room several miles from the arena. That's where I am now, patiently waiting until we can make the trek to Mohegan Sun!!!

No Chris pics today? What is happening to the world? Resolves to sort out this travesty.

Because Taylor Swift is apparently staying there, he was probably just visiting her or something. She is supossedly good friends with Gwen and Chris. There are some picture of the three at a restaurant earlier this year I believe.
