Jupiter is actually better than I expected, although I thought the chorus was supposed to go "Love who you love"? Apparently this was changed since the leak or I must've missed something.

Good Feelings is the My Universe of this album, I don't like the featured singer parts and I miss Johnny's solo from the earlier versions. The song screams summer, why wasn't this a single over FLIFIL is beyond me. This one is a skipper for me.

Alien Hits - incredible, love the neon forest part but it evolves so nicely, they nailed the atmosphere, This and the title track give me the same vibes coloratura does, just flying through space.

Aeterna - upgraded version of what we've heard before, it's alright, although again I think Johnny's guitar was more present before.

All My Love - definitely a highlight of the album... once those strings entered, and the ending... I was floored.

One World - the million voices part was underwhelming, I expected much more from that. The track itself is phenomenal though.

Overall, this is a way better album than MOTS. We Pray is the only track that doesn't fit here. I would rank the album slightly above AHFOD and lower than Mylo Xyloto. It's right in between those two for me.

It's a good balance between commercial and acoustic

As it stands my rating for the album is 8.5/10 and I think it may end up over time being my favourite of all time

I was just informed the hidden track at the end of One World is Orange, but all the lyrics are replaced with la la las. I shit you not.

BOLD THEORY but Coloratura was like prelude to the sound of MM 

Was lucky to attend the cinema event earlier. 
here’s my thoughts. I heard it in surround sound Dolby atmos, it was an awesome experience. Here are some of my preliminary thoughts:
 

1. MOON MUSiC - 6.5? 

Awesome Forever Held intro. Coloratura-seque in second part. Unusual way to begin a Coldplayalbum with such a downer lyrically. It doesn’t work well as an album mood setter like other album openers. 

 

4. JUPiTER - 7?

Queer little ditty. Uplifting and very catchy. Surprise appearance from 2 Aliens - a tease for Vol iii?

 

5. GF - 9?

Production super detailed. Guitar a little quiet compared to live. Funky af. Album highlight.

 

6. 🌈 - 8?

Interesting. Shoegaze-ish moment ends rather abruptly compared to what leaked. No Yellow tour intro used. Feels like the ‘Colour Spectrum’ for Vol iii as faint but varying vocals are mixed in including Angel Moon. Maya’s line suits well with album cover. Ends with no transition into next track.

 

7. iAAM - 9?

Brilliant and epic. Not really like DAAHF as some have said. 

 

8. AETERNA - 9.5

BANGER, but flifil outro forgettable. Perfectly succinct song. Bass drop intro is epic. Production got a glow-up.
(I kid you not the cinema walls were shaking with that pumping bass)  

 

9. AML - 9?

Better than expected. Nice guitar shimmers in stereo.  Instrumentally exceptional.

 

10. ONE WORLD - 7?

I THINK I HEARD MYSELF ON THIS????  Chirping Birds at start is the exact same audio as the HFTW intro. Takes its time and doesn’t rush to reach its climax. I need more time with this one. Hidden track is a troll. Why is lalalala all over this album??

i swear im yelling into a vaccum. Orange made it to Moon Music. Same keyboard - same drum keyboard patch loop - same melody, With Will as an added bonus. What timeline r we on.

When the album comes out properly I'm gonna make an edit of 🌈 where the MUSIC section goes on longer, like in the demo.

When I do my version of the album I'll add 2 Aliens on it, I'll add a extra minute on iAAM, I'll make neon Forest longer and replace the hidden track.

The title track in my opinion is one of the best things Chris has done lyrically 

You can tell this is a personal album for Chris

I knew that la La La was coming on One World from all the comments I’d heard, and that shit still threw me off so bad from the cinema recordings.

 

some questionable choices on the album, but I like most of what I hear. I would’ve changed 2-3 songs here and there, and maybe this album would’ve been a 9-10/10 for me.
