I like to listen to songs then sometimes I think about what I would change about them and sometimes there are songs where I wouldn't change anything (Everyday Life, Coloratura for me) and on Moon Music I almost always feel I'd like to change something. Even surprises are a little so-so...someone said the instrumental snippets were afterthoughts well I don't know about that but those little songs seem a bit strange, this has been also MOTS' "problem."

In all reality, our love for the band is unwavering, but I am a bit meeh about this album - again.

I read it before and I completely agree : enough of those snippets ! I know Coldplay loves putting hidden songs in their albums like Life is for Living or Chinese Sleep Chant but they felt finished enough to be put on a record. EL had maybe half of their songs about 2 min, and on this one I didn't even know which song I was listening too some times ! The ending of Jupiter ? The rainbow thing ? Please guys...

Moon Music, FLIFIL and iAAM are the best songs in this album in my opinion and the lyrics of Moon Music are the highlight of the last two records. 

Let's talk about the lyrics... I know Chris wants a world full of love. We got it mate. So why do you repeat it two thousand times in 15 min ? Between the word love and the lalalalas, It feels like I'm listening to Paul Mccartney when he was 17. 

I know I may sound a bit harsh but I love this f*cking band when they put their talent together. Chris has genius but unfortunately he sometimes loses himself into concepts and concepts don't make songs. 

I won't talk about Aeterna because I don't want to be mean.

In Coldplay terms:
- Title track is Coloratura 2.0
- Jupiter has a “happy Ghost Stories” feel 
- 🌈 is mysteriously luring and probably the “raison d'etre” of this whole thing
- All My Love > Daddy
- iAAM will be great live
- One World is maybe one of their weakest closers but definitely a grandiose experience and meant to carry a “larger than life” message

I'm going to make my own playlist of Moon Music (the album) and cut Moon Music (the song) into 2 songs starting at 1:45. I love the intro but sometimes I'm going to want to just get to the piano part.

Probably will do the same with One World at 5:06. Whatever nonsense comes after that part can be its own skippable track lol.

It’s my opinion.

One World feels like it would've been the bonus track tacked onto All My Love if this was early 2000s Coldplay. But 2020s Coldplay tacked on two bonus tracks to the bonus track lol.

can someone send me alien hits/alien radio. My mp3 is sounds weirdly compressed so a higher quality file is needed.

This is an upgrade from Music of the Spheres in virtually every way—and please believe me when I say I was dreading the follow-up to MOTS. I had little to look forward to and had no problem mentioning that here or elsewhere. I didn't like that Max was returning, I didn't like the direction the album was heading. I was expecting the worst.

Yet I’m shocked at how well put together this album is. I didn’t expect this at all. It’s cohesive, it’s weirdly "experimental" (for Coldplay), and it has the one thing MOTS did not: depth. Again, I didn’t expect this at all. The production is a noticeable and clear improvement from start to finish. Sounds like nothing like MOTS. It's honestly quite jarring if you go and listen to that album right after One World.

It’s pointless to rank it after one listen, but my favorites so far are Jupiter, iAAM (it really was that good!), All My Love, Moon Music. Love the old country solo in All My Love, nice surprise. I still have some issues with it, but as a whole, to say I'm pleasantly surprised is a big understatement. Wow.

Nope. Support didn't get back to me and the order is still shown as pending. If it wasn't a well-known store I'd think I was being scammed.

iTunes wasn't great either, as Feels Like I'm Falling in Love refuses to download. I've had to get Apple support to refund the album so I can buy it again, but I might as well get the digital tour edition for a little bit more.
