I met them when they performed over the summer in Dallas at the House of Blues. They're all very nice. I have to second that Richard is very nice. He talked with me and my sister a good 5 or 6 minutes. Tim was kind of shy, but nice as well. And Tom came out last so he didn't spend much time with anyone. I got autographs from them all on a photo I brough, a guitar pick (also signed), and pictures.

I have to second that Richard is very nice. He talked with me and my sister a good 5 or 6 minutes. Yes, he's very generous with his time. While we were queuing at Bedgebury last year he actually walked right across the field just to speak to everyone, hours before the concert itself.;) Tim was kind of shy, but nice as well. I reckon that's a pretty accurate description. However, I got to speak to him for a good few minutes, and was able to tell him how much I had enjoyed his vocal performance on "Your Love", as well as asking him about how he had got into country music.:D
February 11, 201115 yr ah yeah , I hope I can meet them one day, it's my Fav band :D, wow Richard is really nice :o, actually it's kind of a sad story when I saw them last year , haha I was walking outside the venue and from far , far away I saw someone who looked like Rich taking pics wearing a hat , I saw him but I thought : "no, that can't be Richard, he looks weird and I've never seen a pic of him wearing a hat like that" , then like a year after that I saw that Jesse took a pic of him wearing that same hat :cry::dizzy2::uhoh::bigcry: I was so sad... anyway, one day Keane members... one day...

July 8, 201114 yr Thanks.:smug: So what is your favourite Keane song at the moment, and how did you first hear about them? They have so many good songs.. But "Somewhere Only We Know" and "Nothing In My Way" are my top favorites... I first heard them last year. I was listening to my iPod and noticed my sister put a few Keane songs on it haha. I wasn't into their songs at the time until now. I recently went to my public library and found their Night Train EP. Now I've been listening to them everyday. :smug: What are your favorites? I'm assuming you've heard about them for a while?.. I've been missing out for a while huh haha

I've been missing out for a while huh haha  Yes, they're my second-favourite band after Coldplay, and I've seen them live several times, including twice in England last year. Tom is a brilliant frontman (and singer), and they have so many uplifting, anthemic songs. I have been fortunate enough to have met Richard three times and Tim once (the latter at an intimate Mt. Desolation gig in London last summer). They were both super-friendly and chatty. Hopefully I'll get to meet Tom one day too. Last year's "home-town" concert at Bedgebury was my favourite of the year, and one of the best concerts I've ever experienced. The atmosphere was amazing, and the setting was fabulous (in a forest). "Somewhere Only We Know" is one of my favourite songs by anyone of all time. "Perfect Symmetry" is also fantastic live, and "Everybody's Changing" and "This Is The Last Time" are classics too. I also loved "Your Love" (sung by Tim) on the "Night Train" EP. I even got to tell him that I loved his vocal performance on it.
July 8, 201114 yr Wow, it's amazing you got to see them live so many times and got to meet some of them too! A concert in a forest sounds really pretty... They seem to be full of energy on stage. I duno how they do it! :stunned:
