track 1 is beauty. track 4 is also beauty

They are okay i guess,i dont get the fixation so many people have with them though.

Meh

I don't get the fixation also... but they're not bad, of course.

i saw them on the tele on the late noght glastonbury programme an i though they pretty good! although the coverage of Glastonbury was shite, they shown half on one muse song you know the headliners.

Oh, the decadent and sweet sounds of this group. Good god it's powerful stuff.

i have the luxury of being able to listen to music all day at work on my headphones. i usually choose music that's not gonna intefer too much, ambient techno and experimental electronica being the usual choice. I got hold of Agaetis Byrjun one day just coz i liked the name of the band and the album and didn't do any work for the entire duration of the album. It absolutely blew me away. It's a truly georgeous album. Absolutely stunning. I've not seem 'em live yet but i'm gonna when they play in the UK next coz they just blow me away on CD and i can't imagine where they'd take me at a gig.

Hey, you are online. you seem to be one of the few. I'm gonna listen to this band.

Sigur Rós are not great on record, but pretty amazing live. I recommend them as a therapeutic way to wean yourself off Coldplay. Go, my children. Go and scamper in the Icelandic fields of dew-spattered grass and frolicking pixies with Downs syndrome and all that drivel.

Good band.

Alright Socrates.. I guess you found a good band on here after all.

Does anyone know if Jonsi and the guys are working on some new material?

Yes, they are. Their fourth album is due out this year.

Socrates,

thank you for the good news :)

When a band tours, you can assume that they have new material out, or will have out soon.
