Thanks for posting the songs, @mayrn43. I listened to all of them and actually, I like the King Crimson ones the most ! Definitely will check out some other works by these bands when I find time, so I'm glad you introduced them to me. @beastwars: Oh, didn't see that. I actually created this page because the link in the band index lead to a dead page at that time, so I assumed there was no working thread. Well, who cares, as long we have a place to discuss somewhere :D Did you also find the last album's (The Endless River) cover so terrible ?

Concerning overall sound and song structure, Ghost Story could be from Parachutes or AROBTTH, if it weren't for the obvious difference in Chris's voice, which is imho somewhat scratchy nowadays and tbh sometimes irritates me a little bit :( Nonetheless I love that songs !

I like A Whisper too. Don't know why everyone always tramples on A Whisper and Daylight. All right, they're not the greatest songs ever, but they fit extremely well into the atmosphere of AROBTTH, and btw out of the two I like A Whisper better than Daylight. The repetitive guitar sounds kinda angry there and I like it.

It's really odd how many people here dream about Coldplay (although I have to admit that they once appeared in a dream of mine, too. But i can't remember much other than Chris acted very unfriendly, LOL)

Oh yeah. i always forget how stupid humans can be and how in a crowd it suffices if just a few people are stupid enough to run after something to cause a stampede. Many songs of Coldplay are so soothing and get you through difficult times. If I stood on the edge, tied to a noose, they'd come along and they'd cut me loose.

I really hate ASFOS. Even though with all the mainstream sh*t that my ears are besieged with through radio, I actually think it's the smaller evil when ASFOS is being played on the radio. At least it contains Chris's voice. EDIT: Yeeeah, more than 1000 posts !
