I thought I read somewhere around here that they worked together for a bit but nothing came out of it. It just didn't work or didn't sound right or something. Welcome to homonym hell. I think they picked that word because it was ambiguous. My first thought was magic- something is happening because of the spell. But really thinking about it, it is a song about waiting, so a pause or a period of time would probably be the most appropriate. Either works- it just adds layers of meaning to the song I think. Good luck with the translation.

Looking around, it seems that some listings for the Japanese edition say that they have Lost as a bonus track and others don't. The Japanese edition is released on June 11th, so we'll probably know for sure some time around then. I really don't think this album is going to leak early. You never know, but the last one didn't really, and it doesn't look like this one will either.

Mellon Collie is also a double album and often costs more. And still, it's considered a bit of a classic. ...I think Coldplay would rather come up with another classic than another chart topper.

I have cds of both. Still listen to the Coldplay version now and again, really love it. I think I lost my Embrace cd behind my bookshelf and never cared enough to fish it out again. Sorry to any fans, but I don't really like Embrace. I did for a little bit, but it didn't last long. And they play it too fast for the song.

Liking them both. ASARY shouldn't ever be more than a b-side for a few reasons, but I really love it. Maybe a little more than VH. Hey, if they have Eno around why not get him to do one of his patented electronic tracks. Something nice to sink down into.

He also has a degree in history, remember. If Eno finally convinced him to write about things other than himself and his immediate surroundings, he very well may have turned to the past for inspiration...

I don't think it's a concept album. I don't think you could spend as much time as them arguing about the tracklisting and still end up with a proper concept album. But yes I agree, there probably will be an intermittent running theme at least. Sounds like a lot of things are going to fit together in new ways.

I loved that episode. There were so many great things about it. Way better than Daleks in Manhattan last year- hard to believe it was the same writer. Oh, and did anyone else die when he said "Are you my mummy?" :lol: I squeed when I saw it! Caught it the first time. She's on the monitor just as the Doctor's transmission pops up while Donna is in the Tardis. ...Not sure about the next one. Hope they're not throwing any particularly weird monkey wrenches in the Doctor's backstory... "Hey look, the Doctor had a kid with Nyssa". :freak: Still, very cool casting in a mess-with-my-head sort of way. The Doctor's daughter is really literally playing the Doctor's daughter. :huh: :dance: Doesn't look like she's come back yet- She's only been able to send projections so far. Have you ever seen any of the old episodes with Tegan? I haven't seen many, and I'm almost kind of glad. Would rather have Donna any day. :wreck: Actually, I'm really really really loving Donna. It's fun to have someone who will stand up to the Doctor and call him on it when he sort of goes off the deep end. And who won't gaze at him with doe eyes all the time. This show writes women so well- three amazing characters in a row who can go on adventures without being useless or Xena. Few shows I can think of have managed that.
