I saw it on Thursday and it was amazing. The cinema was full, everybody laughing and clapping at all of Heath Ledger's amazing parts in the film, everyone clapped at the end too. Great atmosphere, great film. I too am depressed that we'll never see Heath Ledger play some more creepy, scary roles. What a fine actor. Morgan Freeman... what a dude he is, he was excellent too.

I'm still confused about Viva La Vida. Chris does always say it's a love song, but on one occasion he did actually say "it doesn't take an idiot to work out who it's about" - which I'm guessing = Bush/Blair.

Did anybody watch Burn Up on BBC2? Rupert Penry-Jones (Adam from Spooks) played one of the main characters. I thought it was really good. I don't know how accurate the science was, but it seemed to highlight the problems of climate change in a way that didn't come across as cheesy or patronising. I know it was only a TV show and they were all actors, but it was nice to actually see people that give a s**t about the enviornment and the length's they'd go to make a difference.

Who the hell are all these foreign kids Rafa Benitez keeps buying for Liverpool???!!! He could have used all the money he wastes on them to sign players we've actually heard of ffs! Argh.

HMV had the DVD for £7. I had it in my hands but for some reason I put it back because I'd just spent £14 on Vampire Weekend and Goldfrapp. Argh, wish I'd bought it now, it looks really good.
