  4. I have always been of the opinion that Tomorrow is an instrumental that leads into Car Kids... if in fact they are songs at all anymore. Time will tell.
  5. i cant speak for that macky but did you check out my new avatar... i think you'll like it.

  8. They say something along these lines every time they finish an album. Then it comes out and they say that they can't wait to get back in the studio and make another record that tops it. Give them a little time, let them tour for a while, and before you know it you'll be reading an interview where Chris Martin is saying that the mid 30's are the most prime time for any band and they have to create more music while they are still young.
  9. macky i made my new avatar just for you... i hope you dig it!
  10. macky - your avatar makes me wonder what Coldplay is like... over there.
  11. I hate to be so pathetic as to bump my own thread but now after hearing this song I stand by the prediction I made back in September. At the very least a nomination for Best Pop Collaboration With Vocals... I believe that much is certain.
  12. if you dont mind my asking... what reviews have you read?
  13. 1996-2030 maybe. I hope...
  14. The Leak Is Out There* *a play on "the truth is out there" which was the theme of the X-Files... don't go crazy!
  15. OMG! I did not take the time to read all those other words surrounding the larger words in caps... mostly because those other words were smaller and not in caps... but those larger words in caps... OMG!
  16. went to the store on my lunch break and looked through the new issue real quick not at all expecting to see the Mylo Xyloto review this week and yet there it was. it was actually pretty positive. they gave viva ***1/2 as well for what its worth. sorry, no scans or anything... didn't buy it.
  17. i took this thread as a satire making fun of all the other posts where people think that we are still going to get hidden tracks... maybe i was wrong?
  18. Just checking in for the first time today. Did we get some sort of news that is leading everyone to believe that today is the day or is this just the usual excitement?
  19. besides having a horn section what kind of song is it? does it have a rock sound... is it more of an indi rock song or a folk tune? is the lead singer a man or woman? what else can you tells us about it?

  21. its not fake... its bombastic!
  22. A lot of bands can be huge for 5 years. A few more can be big for 10 years... REM went beyond all of that. They were giants for 30 years and they spent those 30 years consistently releasing new music. They didn't pull the old trick that some bands do where they split up or take 8 years between albums then come back and act like they never left. Sure there were highs and lows but they lived that band for every one of those 30 years and that to me is what makes them so special. No new drummer or bass player every two or three albums. Just four guys... and then three... who started making music together and decided to spend their lives that way. Absolute legends, true icons, in a time where any band with two hit albums under their belt are given that title all too easily.
  23. Did you know the actual title of Solid Ground is "The Water Flows Over" ... not trying to correct you or anything! Just a little Coldplay fact for your day!
