so so so so happy that florence is getting all this international recognition. i'm sick of seeing corporate constructs getting all the attention and success. its nice to see a genuinely talented artist like florence doing well :)

so the question is, what is arsenals most embarrassing moment this season. losing a 4 goal lead to newcastle or losing the league cup final to birmingham city? i'm going to say the latter simply because birmingham have won just 6 from 26 this season yet have managed to quite convincingly beat them. i feel for arsenal fans actually. quietly hope they win the FA cup (which will probably mean beating man utd in the final 8)

oh i can't stand Yield. i think its outright terrible with the odd decent song on it. their self titled album is awesome!! but i can see why some people might not like it, it is a little over produced and soulless at times. you have ALL live cds!??!! you know there are about 150 of them lol

i filled up last weekend for $1.45/litre (about 2.5 pounds) thats more than i paid when oil prices were over $US140. but the oil companies always have some lame arse excuse as to why the prices are so high, none of them are justified.

wow thats a very very small protected list. down in aus we call it the anti siphoning list and i'm very glad it isnt that limited. very surprised the champions league final isnt there.

i still don't have Yield and Riot Act. not a big fan of either album. have you got all their live dvds too? and all their live cd's :P

this is the truth (and funnily enough most aussies agree with me) but NZ has the best anthem in the world. the fact that you guys not only recognise the indigenous people of your land but you include them in your anthem is really admirable. wish we could've treated our indigenous people that respectfully.

love what The Panics produced through the 2000s as well as Silverchairs Diorama and Young Modern. A&J Stone have impressed on all their EPs and albums. i have great admiration for Cog who have been at it for about 10yrs now and have produced 2 great albums. I dont know too much about john butler trio but what i have heard i have always been impressed by. there's no denying powderfinger's place in the annals of aussie rock.

well the boys have their new album Wasting Light out April 12. they've released two songs already. the first White Limo has a really queens of the stone age feel to it and is some of the heaviest stuff that foo fighters have ever done. and i've never heard dave with such heavily treated vocals. still sounds pretty awesome. so they got the "two biggest bands" and i really don't mind beyonce headlining anymore. a bit of variety doesn't hurt.

now someone needs to make sure that Bono does no strenuous exercise between now and then.
