Wow, all 400 tickets are gone already!?

I'm happy for you guys who were able to get tickets to the show. But a bit disappointed with Much Music that they didn't let us know beforehand that you had to be a Rogers customer for the "win a trip to Toronto" contest part as well. I feel a bit deflated because I probably would have a better chance with a Rogers phone number than sending off an email. However, my email is sent so I'll just keep my fingers crossed.

it says it's only open to rogers customers! It didn't say that for winning the trip to TO! arrrggh. However, it does say in the rules and regulations if you are not a rogers customer you can email your name, info and a paragraph about why you want to see Coldplay. So I guess I'm emailing an entry.

20 minutes now! I was wondering the same thing about refreshing the page. However, I noticed that the countdown is ticking away on its own, so does that mean that the page should just change at the right time and allow us to enter! Argggh, I hate the uncertainty of not knowing how or what I'm supposed to do to enter. Good luck everyone!!!

I wish there was more info about the contest posted. Like how many times can you enter? I am getting all the friends and coworkers I can to enter for me on Monday too!

I can't wait to listen to the CD in my car for the first time. For some reason that's where I like listening to music the best. All that sound contained in such a small place. Though sometimes when I wear headphones and listen I do feel like I pick up on different sounds.

I am SO skipping off a bit of work so I can concentrate on entering this contest! I wonder how many times you'll be allowed to enter and how many prizes they're giving away. I'm in Halifax, but if I won I'd certainly be up for giving some spots to CPers as I only need two of the five. I've been keeping my fingers crossed that there'd be another TO show after the next album, so this news is exciting. I just wish we could buy tickets as well as win them. Good luck everyone!

I paid $120 CAD for one ticket to seem them in Toronto in 2009. Mind you I ended up spending $200 because the first ticket I bought was in the seats. Then I ended up buying one General Admission and didn't end up selling the first ticket. I wish I hadn't spent $200, but since they are my favourite band it was worth it in the end to be standing right in front of the stage!

I had to give this one a few listens before voting. I wasn't too crazy about the sound at the start, I don't really like the gravely Chris voice. But as the song got going I started to like it. I also felt it reminded me a bit of Pink Floyd. I think the more I listen to it the more I like it. I find it still hard to tell though because I much prefer to listen to songs out of my stereo nice and loud, versus coming out of my crappy computer.

I posted about this quite a few months ago when I first came across it. I was watching an online promo for a bull riding dvd, and they were playing Politik in the background of the video! I've heard Coldplay songs various times in malls and stores, and I always love when I get to hear it unexpectedly.

I too would love to hear Warning Sign live. It's one of my faves. Add me to the list.

I've just preordered the cd as I like to have as many actual cds of Coldplay as I can. Although it would be great for a collection, the vinyl would not get used at all and so seems like a waste for me. I will also buy the digital download bundle when it's available as I want access to the other tracks.

It would be cool to come out in October as that's my birthday month, but I don't want to wait that long! I am jealous of everyone who is going to a show before the release of the album...I want to have the cd and be able to play it every day.

I loved it! It just made my day. I was pretty sure that I'd like it no matter what because it is Coldplay. But it was way more upbeat than I was expecting, which was a super nice surprise. Can't wait for LP5.

In my exercise class the other day, during the stretching part the instructor played "Bigger Stronger". It was such a great surprise. I love when you get to hear a Coldplay song in random places.

I am just so excited to hear some new work. I am sure that the album will be great no matter what. I am curios to hear how a concept album will work out though.

I've had three separate Coldplay dreams, but never realized there was a dream thread that I could share on. One dream was a concert that I bought tickets to, but for some reason my seats were in a room at the back of the theatre. So there were tons of seats, but only a small doorway to see through. In order to get to the front you had to be wearing a certain kind of scarf, and I spent most of my dream trying to get a scarf, but no luck. Another one I had Coldplay were playing a concert in a school classroom and I got to be right in the front. Then later I kept running into Chris and Gwyneth by accident but I was worried they would think I was stalking them. So instead of trying to talk to them I kept hiding so they wouldn't see me. Then suddenly I was back home and Jonny came over and I was explaining to him how I didn't want to seem like a stalker but he said it was okay. And so he invited the rest of the guys over and we all just talked and visited. And the third was probably the best because I had a dream that the band was staying at my parents house and so I had to visit and stay there too. And after a while Chris decided he was going to leave his wife for me. Only he was married to Mimi Rogers, not Gwyneth. And I was not married, but still had my kids.

I've always been curious when bands make videos if they actually perform at the time, or if they lypsinc. For those of you lucky folks who happened to go to the filming site after the boat ride maybe you can answer for me. Did the guys actually perform while the taping was going on?

I am just wondering if anyone writes little notes when they enter the Messenger contests or just gives their information. I always feel rude just giving my name, but I don't want to annoy anyone either with useless banter. LOL Has anyone on here every won any of the give aways?

Well if it's 3pm in TO then it's 4:00pm here. Agh!! I'll be on the bus home after work...I know what I'll be doing as soon as I get home. I can't wait for tomorrow!!! :)

I loved the video of you guys singing, I almost got chills. It reminded me of walking through a tunnel on the way home from their concert in Toronto in 2009 and everyone starting singing the wohohohooh part. It's great to be a part of that kind of atmosphere.

Thanks everyone for all your posts about the boat trip, it's good to get everyone's opinion for those of us that couldn't be there. I really got a feel for the whole night. I would have been one of the die hards to treck on to the video shoot site if I could have been there, but at least I can live vicariously through all of you! Love the pics and can't wait to see the video. This thread just keeps getting better and better with all the new stuff added every time I log on!
