Clocks also made onto their best-songs-of-the-decade list. Plus, they describe Don't Panic, Shiver and The Scientist as great songs.

I get what you're saying, but there's a difference between national anthems and pop anthems; the latter are (almost) exclusively energetic, soaring, massive...I guess it could still be somewhat dark, but I think slow and quiet is out of the question.

I think we can count on some sweet bass, based on the Billboard article. :P
