  1. I like it, sounds great.
  2. Radiohead Arcade Fire Coldplay Elbow The Beatles
  3. God Put A Smile Upon Your Face has a fantastic bassline. It's one of the best I've heard. But yeah most of them aren't great, most of the time Guy is just playing the root note for whatever chord is being played by the rest of the band. I'm worried that 'bass-heavy' just means that the bass is louder than usual rather than having a great bassline.
  4. Honestly you're not that bad. I've heard better, but I've definitely heard worse. Quite a lot of those notes you were singing were perfect but some of them were flat. I think a lot of it is because you're nervous, if you're more confident in yourself your performance will improve. Also, if you're enjoying it you'll play better too.
  5. You're probably right, I was thinking of the first part of the guitar solo when i said it's not in 4/4. The part where the notes are Bb, C, D (the second part of the solo) is in 4/4.
  6. I can play it, but I've tried recording songs before on my video camera and it ends up with very poor sound quality. I need to record it with a microphone or something.
  7. iTunes says: 1) 42 (LRLRL version) - 81 plays 2) The Hardest Part/Postcards From Far Away (LRLRL version) - 81 plays 3) Amsterdam - 79 plays 4) Death And All His Friends (LRLRL version) - 49 plays 5) Clocks (LRLRL version) - 46 plays
  8. Well it's definitely not 4/4.

How's this? Let me know if the size is slightly off, I'll be able to change it easily. I based the dimensions on the wallpapers in the 'Sample Pictures' folder on my PC so it should be fine. Here's the direct link so you can download it: http://i55.tinypic.com/vsgkf6.jpg
  10. The tracklist will be announced on the same day as when the album becomes available for pre-order. Nobody wants to pre-order an album without knowing which songs they're paying for.
  11. Nah, I haven't pre-ordered it. I'll probably get it from iTunes on release date though.
  12. ^ Definitely not that, the guitar doesn't sound correct, the one on Sky Sports was a bit softer and had the chorus effect that was used in the live performances. Also, if Sky Sports used that version they'd be breaking copyright laws by not using Coldplay's version.
  13. I for one don't care whether Coldplay reaches number 1. Coldplay's chart position has no effect on how much I enjoy the music. And most of the mainstream stuff in the charts is crap anyway in my opinion, it consists of nothing but bland hip-hop artists who make almost identical music, there's very little originality.
  14. I heard it too, there was definitely a synth in the background like some of the later performances of the song except is was a lot more noticable. I couldn't really hear the bass either but that was probably because my TV speakers aren't the best.
  15. The Shawshank Redemption Who is your favourite person ever?
  16. Radiohead vs. Lady GaGa
  17. I would like a penis smiley for when people on the forum are acting like a dick.
  18. The Oracle confirmed it and in the more recent festivals MX comes up on the screen followed by Hurts Like Heaven after the intro finishes. Here's what the Oracle said: June 27, 2011 - submitted by Leah, Australia Q. Is the new song with the lyrics 'You use your heart as a weapon / and it hurts like heaven' titled MX or Hurts Like Heaven? Hurts Like Heaven was mentioned as a song title by Chris in an interview, but on broadcasts of the song live, the title has been given as MX. So, which is it? Or is MX the intro to the song? The Oracle replies: It's kinda the final thing you said; Hurts Like Heaven with the intro MX.
  19. The insrtumental MX probably is Mylo Xyloto. Just look at the 2 album artworks. One says Mylo Xyloto and the other says MX. I assume they're the same song.
  20. He's already answered it ;)
  21. I think Paradise will be in the third-person. Instead of 'I' Chris will be singing 'they', 'he', or 'she'. It's likely those lyrics are from a song that'll be on the album though.
