Who is the greatest drummer ever?
Totally forgot about him - he's amazing. He reminds me a lot of Roger Taylor as well, Matt has a great rock and roll voice that counterpoints Alex's perfectly and uses it a LOT...I think he's the hardest working member of Arctic Monkeys by far...I love him on R U Mine? LP6
Me neither. I periodically reflip my sleeve notes to give a new cover. I like to use the subsection of the graffiti wall with UATW/CK, or the closeup of "tonight the streets are ours."

Who is the greatest drummer ever?
Will Champion is the best singer of a drummer, but similarly, I'm a huge fan of Roger Taylor of Queen who has a fantastic rock and roll voice. Coldplay is a lot like Queen where we often give the most credit to Chris/Freddie Mercury, but really, it's the drummer (Will/Roger) who does 99% of the work. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pLna2-tjQvs]Queen Killer Queen & I'm in Love With My Car (Live Rock Montreal HD) - YouTube[/ame] I don't know a lot of old drummers well enough to evaluate them side by side, so here's a recent one: Chris Sharrock of Oasis/Beady Eye: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MZF9qDv-nXQ]Oasis - Shock Of The Lightning - One Of The Best Versions !!! // EPIC - YouTube[/ame]

BΔSTILLE //
Is it the durr durr durr durr duurrrrrr? :p I just listened to the entirety of Bad Blood...good album. It's very much like film-music...as if Hans Zimmer wrote it or summat. Not quite my personal-"this-is-what-I'd-want-to-listen-to-all-the-time" which is restricted to Coldplay, Oasis, Muse, Keane, etc. It's a smart take on electronic-influenced music IMO.

I was afraid about this when I heard the studio version, but I think the chorus of Moving may be a wee bit high for Fran. :( The video's extremely kickass though. :D

'Low' is a criminally underrated song
Low is fantastic...it's so fast...Will's drumwork and vocals...it's so loud and guitarry without being overbearing. The end is so heavy-handed in a marvelously heavy way yet the first half is so light and runny. I can't even begin to say how much I like Low... This!!! X&Y resonates with me very heavily on an emotional and honest level.

Post pictures of the gorgeous Chris
Any videos of the Elton John performance? :(

The Jam
I love the Jam! Paul and Noel are a great duo too: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KObNG4B_yuo]Noel Gallagher & Paul Weller - The Butterfly Collector - YouTube[/ame]

Help me please
"Fall asleep, go to sleep." The other part I hear "fall away, ooooh". I could be wrong.

Arctic Monkeys!
Is this a knock at BE? :p

Arctic Monkeys!
This new song is great. The guitar riff is very similar to R U Mine?'s though. Too similar.

Those City Lights To support ColdPlay.
Who's ColdPlay?

Beady Eye
Just listened to BE...I absolutely love it. Great mix of rock and roll, atmospheric, and acoustic. Everything is just plain catchier than DGSS too. I'm genuinely conflicted now because I think the overall picture of Gem/Andy/Chris makes this album sound better than Noel's album even though I like Noel better as a songwriter and singer by far. What's wrong with Second Bite? It's very interestingly composed. It reminds me of Come Together with the drums and bass.

What is, in your opinion, coldplay's best asset?
Balance.

Beady Eye
Both great songs. :) Liam's sounding his finest. Are the album arts on Wikipedia for real? I'm not sure how I feel about different subsections of a naked woman jaja.

LP6
It'd be cool but the fact that other bands have done it make it unlikely. I think they'll surprise us.

LP6
I'd also say all of the members are at their physical and technical best right now...all of them play really hard and well on MX, perhaps the best we've seen, IMO. So their prime is yet to come in my opinion.

The Muse Thread - Hate This & I'll Hate You
I'm kind of confused by the video but it was very amusing. It's kind of interesting how Asian themes have entered a lot of music videos lately (POC, Swim Good by Frank Ocean, this). And really? I love Panic Station...it's got a great funk sound and it's catchy. Chris really shines with the slapping.

The Blur Thread
Great show - Caramel to the end was pretty ace. Sad they didn't play Under the Westway though. :(
-
Beady Eye
Wow what an interesting track! I like it much better than the stuff on the first album already.
-
Noel Gallagher
Thanks so much!!!!!! Is there a bootleg of the audio somewhere?
-
Noel Gallagher
*bump* Anything? :(

Travis
I actually kind of like Another Guy. It kind of reminds me of Sally Cinnamon, which I found boring the first time I listened to that. I also find Bruce Springsteen kind of boring sometimes. If that says anything about me. The video has a nice bad-80's-rock-song-vibe.

Noel Gallagher
Amazing! I LOVE the harmonies between Noel and Graham. <3 Didn't know Paul Weller played drums too. :D Also, is there any way to watch/listen to the shows thus far?
