  1. The fall of man And can I just say, I never heard of those songs before that were added to the voting list, but I've checked them out online now and I can see why they weren't released. Lol [emoji15]
  2. Huh? What was the insult?
  3. God yes and it was horrible. [emoji21] Have you ever gone to work or school without brushing your teeth? [emoji87]
  4. You're so very welcome for the updates! I was glad to help, and happy I was at least in the stadium by then under a shelter overhang rather than where you were. I didn't envy you being out in the storm trying to make it in on time. Glad I'm not the only one who didn't see all the confetti. Thanks for admitting that and making me feel not alone in that! Lol [emoji28]
  5. Haha, yes I'll go with that explanation. [emoji6]
  6. That's so nice of you! Fortunately I got a handful of dry confetti on Sunday, so I'm good, but I'm sure some others will really appreciate that. [emoji122] Speaking of the Viva chant as we left, when I was there on Sunday, I only heard it start up once vs. 3 or 4 times leaving on Saturday. Not that we had perfect weather on Sunday either, but the Viva spirit was definitely stronger on Saturday.
  7. I'm afraid I can't help you with a trade because I didn't get any sweatshirts, but if you haven't already, I would recommend posting this question in the world tour thread, http://www.coldplaying.com/forum/index.php?threads/105154/ because a lot more fans will see it there, and also in the next couple shows' individual threads. You might get lucky here too, and find a fellow Chicago fan that you can meet up with. Good luck!
  8. Yes, but technically I gave up my seat for an overbooked flight, and then waited for the next one. Came close to missing a flight due to being late once before, but got lucky and made it just in time. Have you ever mentored someone?
  9. I found this "Love Monkey" abandoned on top of a trash can as I left the field after the Sunday Chicago concert. So totally had to bring him home with me. [emoji7] If you can't read his belly, it says "[emoji173] LOVE Kiss who's next to you. [emoji182] "
  10. That's f-ing amazing!!!!!!!!!! Thank you so much for sharing. Was that from Saturday or Sunday? I assume Sunday because of the thread you posted in, but just double checking.
  11. I feel stupid asking this question because I was there on Saturday, but I can't remember, and haven't had time to check videos yet. Did they do any of the confetti cannons on Saturday? I sat in the 200 level in the back and don't remember seeing them go off. I'm sure they didn't at the end while it rained but I'm not sure about the beginning when it was still dry enough. When I came back for Sunday's show, I had floor seats and they did confetti at different times through the entire show. It occurred to me when they went off that I didn't remember seeing that on Saturday. Either because they didn't do it, or because I was sitting too far back to see, or because I was totally oblivious. Not sure which is worse. LOL. [emoji12]
  12. Welcome! [emoji2]
  13. I would guess so. In Chicago, I was still seeing the old stage design for that show on a bunch of websites, even the stadium's own website, right up until the show dates. If you bought your tickets through Ticketmaster, I would recommend calling their "already bought my tickets" customer service line and ask them about your show and possible upgrades.
  14. Ha! That makes total sense now! I thought it looked like his parents were leading him through the crowd like he was blind, and now I know they were trying to keep him from seeing where he was. The front of his poster is the side I hadn't seen. And that's how rumors get started! [emoji12] That's an even cooler story now.
  15. I spotted this table set up near the entrance to the field for people whose floor seats got messed up with the stage design changes. They had people standing in a really long line. I'm not sure if it was a first come first serve situation for the best available seats, or if people just had to check in at the table to see where they were already reassigned. Glad I called Ticketmaster days ago and got my floor seats upgraded over the phone. [emoji6]

  17. My son and I walked into the stadium right next to that family! As we walked along side him, I noticed his poster that said "My First Concert" on one side and something else on the other side but I couldn't read it. He was wearing a large eye patch, at least on his eye closest to us, but he wasn't wearing it when he went on stage. Hope it's not anything serious. From my floor seats, I saw him holding up his poster right next to the b-stage just before Chris called him up. So cool. [emoji4]
  18. Hey Chicago Sunday people! Anybody heading into Chicago yet? I'm heading there on the train now in from Indiana. Fingers crossed that we have better weather than last night. I was there last night too, and my shoes just dried out. [emoji39]
  19. Yes, it was like a special history-making event we were all a part of. Very cool to hear Chris talking to the audience and band about what they should do. "Shit, I don't know, we've never been in this situation before." (Or something like that.) [emoji6] I'm heading back there now for night number two. Hoping we don't have a repeat of last night's weather (my shoes just dried out) LOL but it'll be fine either way. The fans were all so cool about it, and it was fun to chat with people who were all in the same situation, like a bonding experience. [emoji4]
