From The Sun Sex & Y COLDPLAY’S CHRIS MARTIN has revealed the secret inspiration behind new album X&Y — pornography. That’s right, the record of the year owes its brilliance to X-rated blue movies. There's just a snippet on the online edition of the tabloid. If anyone'd buy that and post it... :)

Im sorry you all, but I was looking at this picture of Chris and it had jonny in the backround, and it occured to me that Jonny and SaladFingers look and talk alot alike. You all hate me but I found it to be quite humorous. If you have never seen Saladfingers I highly suggest that you go type in Saladfingers on google and watch the videos. They are hilarious/disturbing/wierd. But yeah, Jonny and Saladfingers are the same guy.

http://technicianonline.com For a good time, call Coldplay Posted: 09.12.2005 Jeff Reeves/TECHNICIAN http://technicianonline.com/photos/2005/09/09122005coldplay.web.jpg Guitarist Jonny Buckland and front man Chris Martin have a laugh during "Yellow" early in the set. The band played a variety of songs from their three albums including a Johnny Cash cover. Jeff Reeves From the moment front man Chris Martin bounced to the front of the stage Saturday night, the energy level only increased at Alltel Pavilion. Paired with an amazing light show, Coldplay rocked through a set list jammed with old favorites and new songs from X&Y. Nothing can be worse than …

FromNews And Observer Coldplay show rocks with spectacle By DAVID MENCONI, Staff Writer You can tell a lot about rock stars based on how they react to onstage spontaneity. A bright pink bra landing on top of one's guitar mid-song, for example -- which is exactly what happened to Coldplay's Chris Martin Saturday night at Alltel Pavilion at Walnut Creek. The garment launch came during "Til Kingdom Come," one of several songs Coldplay performed semi-unplugged at the front of the stage; and Martin, bless his heart, took it off his guitar and placed it atop his head as the crowd roared. Saturday night's show felt like old times, with bright lights, iconic rock-star pos…

Chris Martin 'devastated' by bad reviews Monday, September 5 2005, 11:12 BST -- by Daniel Saney Chris Martin has admitted that poor reviews of Coldplay's work gets the band down. Although latest album X&Y have generally have had good things to say, there have been several strong detractors including Rolling Stone and the New York Times who have had less than kind words about their efforts. Martin told the New York Post: "The truth is it really does affect us. "And this is the first time that we've responded to it. That's why we're having trouble knowing how to answer. "There's no harm admitting that you're human and these things bring you down. That N…

Just a heads up to everyone, I posted about it in the Coldplay Live section. Coldplay will be featured on the ReAct Now concert, it'll be aired on MTV, VH1, MTV2 and CMT (the country music channel, I guess) tomorrow (Saturday) from 8 pm to 11 pm. I'm on the east coast, so I don't know what your respective time zones will be. U2 and the Rolling Stones are playing too, apparently *so excited*

From Times On Line September 07, 2005 Have US critics got it right on Coldplay? British rock band Coldplay have been derided by the US musical press as a cynical machine delivering puffed-up ballads to the masses, and The New York Times has called them "the most insufferable band of the decade". What do you think? Send us your view using the form below Most Americans can't stand British popular music. This is mainly because they are fortunate in enjoying a huge diversity of musical styles. I have not bought a CD by an English band for years. When I want to hear boring, repetitive dirge-like derivative rubbish I will. Coldplay is just an example of this. Hymns …

Shame really, the best song on the album, and they are still behind Gorillaz which has been out a week already. I was listening to Bigger, Stronger and thought...."that would be a good James Bond movie theme music" It's a bit of an honour to do the music for a Bond film, do you think Coldplay are up to the task...or would even be interested?
