Does anyone know the correct way to play the riff in Yellow? I've got the tab book, but it sounds like crap...

(first of all, sorry if this has been asked before) does anyone know how to play Johnny's electric guitar riff at the end of the scientist? it's such an amazing piece of music i have some live versions but it's hard to see what strings Johnny's fretting :/ i think he starts off with something like x120000 and then he bends that 12 down when he emphasizes ... then i also think he does something like a -12- -0- -10- -12- -11- -10- or a -12- -10- -0- -12- -11- -10- so anyone know how to play it exactly? i'd be delighted :)

Does anyone know how to play Sparks correctly? the version i have is standard tuning with capo on first fret.... its from mxtabs but it doesnt sound right as C Am7 in the verse? which is what it says hmmm wondering if anyone had a different version? :guitarist:

i know the chords from diffrent tab sites but how does chris play it i see he is up and down the fret board does any body know theses chords??

Can someone post them, it's growing on me, but I don't like the strings on the end, I think they're not really needed.

I was already able to pick out the single lead piano notes, but I don't know any of the backup chords, or the music for the chorus. Does anyone know them?

You can't question that these instruments are integral to the unique sound of Coldplay right? But who on earth plays them!!?? For those of you that have seen Coldplay live, who plays the strings and the organs and the synths? Can anybody shine some light on this for me? [/glow]

I have a question for all you musicians out there lucky enough to own the Live 2003 music book for the piano/vocals/guitar arrangement (pvg). Is the music in the book taken from the studio versions of the song (i.e. the same music printed in the parachutes or rush of blood books) or is it the music that the guys are playing live on the dvd (i.e. the uber-cool ending to the scientist)? Any help would be appreciated.

I realised a few weeks ago that when Jonny plays the Chorus to Shiver, he mutes the 1st, 2nd and 4th string so that he can sort of strum it. It takes a bit of getting used to but thats how he does it
