Hey all I was just recording a cover of Strawberry Swing on my acoustic guitar through the internal mic on my iMac, and when I decided to play it back, the track had this awful sounding sort of Flanger (or Phaser) sound to it, which just made me want to go to the toilet.:shocked2: I was wondering if anyone could shed any light on this? It hasn't always been like this, I recorded something on Xmas day (when I got it) and it sounded fantastic. Help would be greatly appreciated.

So for the past couple of years I've been completely set on studying architecture when I get to college. I love everything about it, seems like the coolest thing to study...but the last couple of days I've been thinking, well, I don't have a portfolio started, I don't know what to do, where to go, yadda yadda yadda... I pretty much panicked with the thought of the time it's gonna take me to get a good portfolio worth any college's time... And then I sad, CRAP, I'm screwed... I've always been fond of learning of others cultures, ideas, LANGUAGES... and so, It's been in my mind that maybe studying liberal arts is where my calling is... :shrug: It sounds like a good idea …

Dreams are weird. I myself am glad I don't have them often. Though if I do have one, it will either be really weird, really scary, or really good. When I have my really good dreams, they're usually so good that when I wake up, I'm depressed becuase I've returned to my normal, boring life of sitting here in front of this damn computer screen. When I have my scary dreams, I'll usually be really scared after i wake up, but I'll feel fine once the day goes on. And my really weird dreams are usually just random, but sometimes they have some things in them I just can't explain. Likast last April, I had a weird dream. And before I go on, my Mom died in April due to cancer…

No, this isnt a link to some sort of online javascript. This is real life. Would you build a robot that does exactly what you tell it to, or build one which can learn things by themselves? On the one hand, if you have a robot who just does what you want it to, it would get all the housework done, but it would be incredibly boring. The plus point is that it wouldn't start destroying you to pieces. And on the other, is a robot who can develop personality, be funny, hell, even a friend! But they'd probably get lazy, and start doing what people do, making up excuses out of doing work. Also theres a firm chance they'd realise they are superior to you and start destroy…
