so as i started a second degree this week called spanish language and literature, i have to read 7 books this semester for two different subjects: medieval literature and golden century literature (those last 3 are 'optional').

milagros de nuestra señora by gonzalo de berceo (read it yesterday)

libro de buen amor by arcipreste de hita (reading it)

cantar de mio cid by unknown

romancero viejo by unknown

poesías castellanas completas by garcilaso de la vega

lazarillo de tormes by unknown

la vida es sueño by pedro calderón de la barca

all chronological, is interesting, to notice the evolution of the grammar.

i'm looking forward to finish those and join the reading club if possible to read some more modern texts.

^ A John Irving novel? 'Hotel New Hampshire'...or 'A Prayer For Owen Meany'?

Or a book by T.C. Boyle? Or anything by Chekhov!!!

Chekhov?! 'Three Sisters' were mandatory in my high school and I almost died of boredom reading it. So no, not really anything by him.

I'm reading ' The Sound and the Fury' at the moment (William Faulkner).
