April 20, 200818 yr Guys, there's no point in bashing other bands. Don't make people afraid to state their opinions. This isn't the kind of place where we do that. It's okay to say that you don't like Green Day, but don't tell them to leave or whatever, they might take it very seriously.
April 20, 200818 yr Green Day themselves are extremely arrogant. But, I like oh about 2 of their songs. They have history attached to them is why but yeah, overall, I'm not really a fan. But it's cool if others are. Everyone's different!!
April 20, 200818 yr I agree with whoever said Last Goodbye by Jeff Buckley, but I think even Chris might have a hard time with it. Those vocals are REALLY challenging! I'm a pretty good singer, but it's tough for me...It would be so awesome to hear him nail it though!! The BARNEY theme...*ducks*
April 21, 200818 yr With or without you I wish it were one of their songs, but I don't want them to cover it
April 21, 200818 yr i always wanted coldplay to do 'all out of love' by air supply... in my head it sounds something epic like fix you
April 21, 200818 yr are you just saying that because he was in a band that did nothing but learn and cover genesis songs?
April 21, 200818 yr If Coldplay could play any other song, I'd pick ones from my other favorite bands. #1) Starlight- Muse #2) Soul Meets Body- Death Cab For Cutie #3) Keep the Car Running- The Arcade Fire #4) I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For- U2 #5) Champagne Supernova- Oasis #6) Hey Jude- The Beatles #7) Love Reign O'er Me- The Who #8) How to Save a Life- The Fray #9) Brick- Ben Folds Five #10) Everlong- Foo Fighters I know. A bit much, but I can imagine Coldplay playing these songs. U2 and Oasis are their inspirations, Muse has been compared to Coldplay, The Beatles are immortals, they do like The Arcade Fire, and The Fray and Ben Folds Five both have awesome piano solos Chris would rock on! As for DCFC, The Who and the Foo Fighters, I just really love those songs. -Kat!
April 21, 200818 yr #1) Starlight- Muse #4) I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For- U2 #5) Champagne Supernova- Oasis #6) Hey Jude- The Beatles #7) Love Reign O'er Me- The Who #10) Everlong- Foo Fighters Starlight i think would be a good idea because as you said the two bands are so often compared. Still haven't found what i'm looking for would be AWESOME. i like that one. Champagne supernova would also be pretty good, but there are other oasis songs i would do first. Hey jude would be great as anything by the beatles would be. Love Reign O'er Me would be cool but they would have to completely change it around. Because will can't drum like moon can. And Chris (as anyone would) would struggle singing that song. It would have to be a complete reinvention. Everlong would be cool. I'd like to see what they would do with a grunge song. Overall good suggestions!;) I'll add tiny dancers by elton john to my list. as well as REM's losing my religion.
April 22, 200818 yr are you just saying that because he was in a band that did nothing but learn and cover genesis songs? yeah I thought he said they liked them on the Live 2003 DVD
April 22, 200818 yr :indianbrave:Last of the Mohicans.. Daniel Doubleday Lewis.:bandana::indianchief::cool: & Peter Gabriel's Solsbury Hill would be pretty neat to hear re-captured.
April 23, 200818 yr yeah I thought he said they liked them on the Live 2003 DVD I thought he was being asked about dodgiest music influences. And Guy answered genesis.
April 23, 200818 yr  genius. reminds me of the first episode of the second series of the office (The GOOD version - Gervais') classic.
