October 12, 200817 yr The Feb tour tee-shirts were better than the tee-shirts for this tour, I like tee-shirts with the tour dates on the back.
October 12, 200817 yr i downloaded the first part of the london gig, and the quality is good  so happy!
October 12, 200817 yr I've been listening travis all day long ahhh how i love their old songs :bigcry:
October 13, 200817 yr I am finally in possession of a physical copy of the album! :D As I said earlier, I got fed up not being able to find anything about an NZ release date so caved in and downloaded it on Friday, then I found and online CD shop stating 13th October as a release date in the weekend. So I went into the main CD/DVD store today and they had it. Slightly annoying that I would only have needed to wait 3 more days but pleased to finally have it officially. Now I just need them to come here and do a show in Auckland!
October 13, 200817 yr Having now listened to the new album a bit more thoroughly, I have to say I'm extremely impressed with it, and I reckon it might well be my favourite Travis album to date.:D
October 13, 200817 yr It's certainly climbing up my rankings too. Non-stop listening since I acquired it on Friday has taken it above The Boy With No Name and it's closing in on the top 2 - The Invisible Band and The Man Who. 'Song To Self' has to be in my top 5 Travis songs too. :) Now I just need them to come to NZ and do a show when they presumably tour Asia/Australia early next year. Such a shame they no longer get the commercial recognition that some of the bands they effectively brought into existence do. With good promotion, 'Song To Self' could hopefully do really well as a single.

October 13, 200817 yr now that's quite a surprise :) didn't you say there were songs you strongly dislike? There are still one or two I'm not totally convinced about, but the really good ones are among the best they've ever done.;)

October 15, 200817 yr I was a bit disappointed after seeing REM, too. They just didn't play my favourite songs during the first hour of the concert :\ I saw better gigs on DVD and TV ;) Michael Stipe is a Legend on stage, though, no question!
