non spolier , teasers 10 of them from digital spy :D

The Doctor Who Christmas special airs on December 25 at 5.15pm on BBC One.

> Doctor Who new TARDIS interior revealed in first look picture

> Matt Smith teases Christmas Doctor Who: 'We have killer snow'

1. Long-time Who fans will love the new title sequence - guaranteed.

2. "I don't need anyone else."

3. The snowmen and Richard E Grant's Dr Simeon may not be the only lurking threat...

4. "Did you make this snowman?"

5. There's a possible nod to Channel 4's The Snowman with some very literal 'Walking in the Air'.

6. "Do you want to see where she died?"

7. The Doctor directs some wonderful insults at Commander Strax (Dan Starkey).

8. "The Great Swarm is approaching!"

9. The final sequence sets up 2013's Who episodes wonderfully.

10. "Pray for a miracle..."

^I liked him, you just have to understand the episode to really like him playing that part[/color]

I understood the episode, I just felt it was a poor storyline propped up with a gimmick of him being the next Doctor to try and get higher ratings. I never believed he was the next Doctor, either. Maybe I would've if he was played by someone like Benedict Cumberbatch or Adrian Lester.

Ten weird/cool things in Doctor Who.

1. The Statue of Liberty was closed in 1938 for renovation. When is The Angels Take Manhattan set? 1938.

2. In The Eleventh Hour, Rory's badge says he has been a nurse since 1990. He's roughly 30, in that episode, right? He gets sent back to 1938, and 1990-1938=52. 52+30=82...

tumblr_mb4xf0reB21r2dnnr.pngDid Rory die the day he became a nurse?

3. The Tenth Doctor's first episode was The Parting of the Ways ("New teeth!"). The chapter in Harry Potter that Barty Crouch Jr dies is... The Parting of the Ways. (Barty Crouch Jr was played in the films by Tennant)

4. Matt Smith has been in Secret Diary of a Call Girl, a show starring Billie Piper (Rose) as a prostitute. This means Billie Piper has acted with, and actually got off with, all three incarnations of the Doctor since its revival.

5. In the episode Dalek, Henry van Statton correctly predicts there will be a Democrat president in 2012.

6. What number does the Doctor wear when he's playing football with Craig in the Lodger? Eleven. In Asylum of the Daleks, how much trouble did the Doctor tell Rory they were in, on a scale of 1-10? Eleven. Oh, and there's the episode, The Eleventh Hour. Matt Smith's the Eleventh Doctor.

7. In the Eleventh Hour, there is a Pond with no ducks. Which was never explained.

But then Amy Pond couldn't have any children, after Demon's Run.

8. During the meal the Doctor has with the Ponds in The Power of Three, where Brian tells them to go with him, he's drinking from the glass that he used in The Eleventh Hour to listen through the crack in Amelia's wall.

9. Rory has died nine times. In Vampires of Venice, he is wearing a number 9 shirt on his stag do.

10. In The Shakespeare Code, the Doctor remarks that a skull looks like a Sycorax's, the alien from The Christmas Invasion. Shakespeare says he's going to use that word. He did; it's a name of a character in the Tempest. So you know... that was planned.

Also...

Captain Jack is the Face of Boe.

Captain Jack cannot die.

Captain Jack was once a Time Agent, or pretends to be one.

Captain Jack wears a vortex manipulator.

Dorium Maldovar sold River a vortex manipulator “fresh off the wrist of a handsome Time Agent.”

Dorium Maldovar works with the Headless Monks from time to time.

The Headless Monks decapitate people.

The Face of Boe is a head with no body.

I'll stop now.

What about Mitchell & Webb as the voices of the robots in Dinosaurs on a Spaceship? Or are they not famous enough?

Lol, yeah they're pretty famous. Forgot about them too.

Richard Wilson in The Empty Child/The Doctor Dances

Marc Warren in Love and Monsters

Zoe Wanamaker in The End of the World/New Earth

Eccleston's an odd Doctor because he's a lot grumpier than any other, he doesn't take pride in his attire and he doesn't seem very alien; also he doesn't particularly like humans :P This was explained by the Time War and losing his whole race. Not sure how I feel about that explanation, but I did quite like Nine at the time.

This thread should have a poll for favourite Doctor, though.

Thanks for explaining. :) When I was watching 1x13 last night, my eyes were full of tears. And it was so touching, both Doctor and Rose.

At first I watch this because of David Tennat, I heard of him, so I expect him to appear. But series 1 is Christopher Eccleston. However, I like him now. He's fantastic. :nice:
