U2

I took a photography class, and I adore it. I've wanted to be a professional photographer for so long, but it seems like it's becoming such a common, easy, thing for people to do, I've kind of shied away from it.

Same here. It's always been a passion of mine (I even geeked out at my U2 concert, trying to get all the best shots of Bono with the crowd  I remember thinking "oh my god, now THERE'S a shot *grabs camera*"). It is really a common thing to hear people say now, however. That's so frustrating for me, because I'm actually really considering it as maybe something in my future, but when I say "I'd love to be a photographer" it's usually not taken too seriously.

Agreed. I always figure if my music dosen't work out, which is a serious option for me (my brother is in the music business and is trying to help me), I want to do show production, which does lights and such. They make good money. But in the corner of my mind I still want photography.

I considered music for awhile, but I don't really know what I'd do in the business realistically. I'm apparently pretty good at trumpet, and piano as well, but they're not exactly something I'd spend the rest of my life playing. I love the guitar, but I SUCK!

That is soooo weird... I actually was really interested in concert lighting, stage design, etc etc. It's sort of a strange fetish of mine, I always notice the random lighting changes during a concert and go "ooooo aaaah!" I even considered that too. But for some reason photography has always been some sort of staple when it comes to my interests, whether I've been aware of it or not.

And THAT is enough from ME.  :P

Anyone have piano music for any of these songs?

Running to Stand Still

Walk On

City of Blinding Lights

Original of the Species

    :x :x

No you are not :x :x newbie :P :P :P :P

You are quite welcome to express your opinions. I'm afraid he's done nothing wrong. There's the fantastic Anti-Darkness thread remember.

Lets keep it friendly and tone it down a bit though...if you like U2 don't come in, if you don't like U2, don't bash those who do ;)

as you've never previously made a post in the Other Bands forum, sadly disabling my ability to laugh at bands you may consider better than U2, would you care to tell us then which band you don't not like, Coldplay aside?

What on earth are you doing on a COLDPLAY Forum when you hate U2?

I can't figure that out... So hereby: shut up.

Anyone have piano music for any of these songs?

I second this question

Coldplay is not U2

U2 are idiots....Coldplay are inventive geniuses who dont force there views on us throught there music unlike Bono the arse...

screw the song beautiful day Kerry can shove it up his self conceited ass....

Long live Coldplay they have been better than U2 for quite a while

^^I think Coldplay are SO much better than they are, but that is just my personal opinion. I think U2 was before my time, and I have never been able to get into them. I'm not a fan of U2, but I don't HATE them with a passion like you obviously do. :o

electronicmaji, why do you have to ruin the fun, eh? you dont like them...is your opinion, but do not bash them by calling them metrosexuals

u2 arent idiots, you are obiously very musical iliterate, u2 is propably one of the best bands out there, and i dont know if you have noticed but they have been around for quite a while...crappy bands dont last very much...

i don't understand why you use words like "idiots","screw","gay".

if you hate somebody, please explain it normally

in my opinion U2 are very good
