November 18, 200421 yr "Pure rock" is such a boring concept to me. I think I'll just savor my copies of the albums they put out that were masterpieces instead.

November 19, 200421 yr For me it's the best U2 Album since "Achtung Baby"... can't believe that they still mange it to sound so great. Great rock hymnes... I mean that's what U2 was always about... Songs like "Miracled Drug" or "Yahweh" are the reasons why I love U2. And "Sometimes you can't make it" is so sad... and so beautiful. U2 manged to play with their cliché... of course they are a typical stadium rock hymn band... but they are better then any other act in this disciplin. I MUST see them live next year... otherwise I can't look in the mirror anymore :D 5 stars out of 5

November 23, 200421 yr U2 on Saturday Night Live (11/20/04) Did anyone catch this??? It was phenomenal!! They played "Vertigo" and for their second song they did the one dedicated to Bono's dad (I forgot the title :embarrased: ) then right at the end.... the cut some sketches.. and U2 played a 3rd song!!! (I Will Follow) they must have kept on jamming after the show because as the credits were rolling they started to play some more!! I would've loved to have been in the audience.. they were great!! just wanted to know if anyone else caught the show... cheers! :cool:
