October 28, 200421 yr u2 - vertigo video See it here: http://entertainment.sympatico.msn.ca/Music/ I am not a fan of computerized videos, and I find this one rather dull.
October 28, 200421 yr it was dull but I liked it.. i think there is a lot of symbolism in this one.... maybe not much for the 'entertainment' value... but I enjoyed it.
October 28, 200421 yr hmm... this IS dull. but it is a lot less depressing than watching them sell iPods. :/ n
October 31, 200421 yr hmm... this IS dull. but it is a lot less depressing than watching them sell iPods. :/ n are you serious? i didn't know that!
October 31, 200421 yr Ya,there is an Ipod ad for vertigo too. u2, you sadden me, that you had to stoop so low.
October 31, 200421 yr Yeah! U2 is great! The new clip is great and the song is awesome! It´s so funny on the beggining, when bono says: "um, dois, três, quatorze"! Yeah! In portuguese!!! But.... it shoud be "quatro", insted of "quatorze" 1,2,3, 14   But it´s nice! I hope they come to Brazil, because I really want to see them live!
October 31, 200421 yr the song is fine, dont luv the video though.. apparently the video from that website is different from the video they show here on MTVBrazil. And yeah, bono and the rest of U2 crew have dissappointed me! :o
October 31, 200421 yr un...dos...tres...catorce!... hello hello hola!.............I don´t get why they did that!?!?
November 1, 200421 yr Come on, if any of you were in a rock band and had the chance to make millions of dollars, off an IPod made after you, are you honestly telling me you wouldn't take it? It's not being low, it's making a shitload of money.
November 1, 200421 yr I would do it now because I need the money. U2 obviously don't need the spare cash. So I think it IS being low, because they already have shitloads of money. Plus, I hold U2 to a higher standard. This isn't Random Band X trying to get some promotion (like previous iPod commercials with Jet, Steriogram, etc.), this is the biggest band in the world, and on top of that, a group that has a reputation for fighting for those who are less fortunate around the world. It hurts their credibility in my eyes when they start selling the trendy status-symbol gadget-of-the-week.
November 3, 200421 yr k so i was watching the iPod commerical for Vertigo with all those colors and whatnot, anyway, it starts out with bono saying: "uno, dos, tres, catorce" ( 1 , 2 , 3 , 14 ) did anyone else pick this up? i haven't listened to the song but...
November 3, 200421 yr So the guy doesn't know Spanish, give him a break! :P Selling ipods on the other hand, well I just can't forgive him... I want one :stunned: :dozey:
November 6, 200421 yr So the guy doesn't know Spanish, give him a break! "uno, dos, tres, catorce" ( 1 , 2 , 3 , 14 ) Really? I thought it was portuguese... :inquisitive: oh...of course not...what the hell. Portuguese is such a dumb language, why would they say it!
November 8, 200421 yr I would do it now because I need the money. U2 obviously don't need the spare cash. So I think it IS being low' date=' because they already have shitloads of money. November 18, 200421 yr How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb This cd is amazing. I heard it online today on the U2 site. This is an unbiased opinion. I like U2, but this album makes me love U2. The band said this would be a return to rock, and damn, they were right! The album is mid-tempo, but The Edge is back in action! There is not one song on this that I don't like. This is U2 being a pure rock band, no otherworldly atmosphere and foggy music, like on The Joshua Tree and The Unforgettable Fire, and no dance experimentation like the 90's, this is pure rock. The song that stands out most for me is Miracle Drug. The song hasn't really been talked about a lot by reviewers, but I personally think it's the most epic song on the album, perfect song to me. This isn't as good as War, Achtung Baby, or The Joshua Tree, don't listen to this expecting the next masterpiece from U2, but this is an album that in my opinion has certainly been well worth the four year wait. 4 stars out of 5.
