I think AF is good, and the band is coming to Finland (first time!) on July.

But the tickets are so expencive (50€) and I'm so busy in summer so I can't go :(

I was so pissed when I heard they're coming to finland next month and I'm not here then :/ it still pisses me off. one of the bands I've always really wanted to experience live

Well, maybe when they tour properly they'll be back!

According to Australian radio station Triple J, the song will see a proper release "around 1 June", with the end of July as a "tentative [album] release date".Triple J claims that Nick Launay, who mixed Neon Bible, is producing, while engineer Markus Dravs and arranger/violinist Owen Pallett have both confirmed their involvement. More tantalisingly, the radio station claims Arcade Fire recorded and mixed about 38 songs for the record – raising the prospect of a double-album.

The two new songs sound pretty good from what I've heard. :surprised:

^^ That sounds about right. According to Amazon the release date for Suburbs/Month of May is May 31st.

 

I don't like the idea of a double album, to be honest. Often they are too long to hold my attention (case point: Joanna Newsom), but who knows.. :\

not yet. but new single is out in the next two weeks. and there are claims we will have the full record by the end of july. it sounds reasonable.
