That's what bumping is for. :P;)

I always remember the first time i heard them...at the MTV EMAs when Borat climbed across the stage and David Grohl goes: "what you doing man?" and Borat replys: "the man from the stage shut me in here and i cannot get out" :laugh3:

will their wembley stadium gig be broadcast live on bbc radio 1? if so which gig will it be the first or second one?

At a guess it would be tomorrow night's gig (the one where I will be at), where there is rumoured to be special guests joining the foos onstage.

And those special guests are rumoured to be 3 quarters of Led Zeppelin :shocked2:

Crikey, thats a good setlist!!

Anyone reccomend a decent Foo Fighters album for me to get? I have their latest one, but only have a few odd tracks from before that. Whats their best older record?

One by One I would say is the best place to start

In Your Honour is a good double album, 1cd rock 2cd acoustic

colour and the shape

nothing left to lose

foo fighters (ST)

It was awesome last night, the place erupted when Jimmy page and John paul jones walked onto the stage (which was 'in the round')

Cheers, I think I'll start with One By One, then take the rest, uh, one by one... (cringes at god-awful joke)

I didn't actually realise In Your Honour was a double album!! Thats a nice surprise.

How does Skin And Bones rate in all of this?

The cd or the dvd?

I only have the dvd as it's a much better package (full show on dvd plus a bonus dvd of the hyde park show), but it's a good live album.

Again, I didn't realise there was a DVD as well! :laugh3:

I'll have to have a look in town tomorrow I think!

ooh, choices choices!!

I think I'd rather go for the DVD, but might hold back a couple of weeks, I'm 99% sure they'll release a Wembley gig, and I'd much rather have that, based purely on how amazingly amazing the Muse HAARP DVD was from there!

There is a highish chance the wembley gig will be on radio 1 at some point over the next couple weeks.

Compared to Haarp, there was more people there because the stage was in the round (hardly any seating in the middle/upper tiers were fenced off, with only some seats in the lower tier covered over as they were near the main entry points), there wasn't as many special effects (although the fireworks at the end were special)

Bigger than HAARP? Thats insane!!

I wish I was there, sounds like it was a great night!! And the Led Zep bit at the end!! :shocked2: Wow.

Fingers crossed for a DVD/CD jobby

They are saying there was 86,000 people, however the seating holds 90,000 and a good 95% of that was full, mix together with about 12,000 people standing, and you get nearly 100K

my only concern about gigs at wembley now is the density of the moshpit. i understand that there are dozens of safety issues and so on but i really do miss the look of wembley from the Queen gigs and Live Aid and many many others that ive seen on dvd. i watched HAARP and there were massive gaps on the ground which looked horrible from my point of view. there were only 70000 at the Muse gigs (65000 i believe at the gig they put on dvd) so i guess that 86000 means that they must of stuffed in more people into the pit or was that due to the "in the round" format of the gig

and did any record the highlights package that was played on the radio on monday? anyone find any links to it?
