April 3, 200620 yr They were awesome!! I loved the British way Chris was like..."do you have a telephone?" :laugh4: Brilliant performance!!! :D
April 3, 200620 yr It's like they're ignoring that THP is the next (current?) single.. I wonder how much radio play it'll get.
April 3, 200620 yr "...he just hugged me backstage, which was, to be honest, arousing" LMFAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! :laugh4: :laugh4: :laugh4: God, I love him! :laugh4: :wacky:
April 3, 200620 yr ^^I'm still laughing :laugh4: :laugh4: "Shh, seriously!" haha. At first, I hadn't really listened to what Pam was saying and I was like *wtf* Chris is "a dear friend" of hers? lol
April 3, 200620 yr It's like they're ignoring that THP is the next (current?) single.. I wonder how much radio play it'll get. thats exactly what i was thinking... no love for the hardest part? weird. then they shouldnt release it if they arent going to promote it
April 3, 200620 yr thats exactly what i was thinking... no love for the hardest part? weird. then they shouldnt release it if they arent going to promote it But as long as THP is not really released maybe it's not point for them to promote it too much..dunno
April 3, 200620 yr They don't really even play The Hardest Part in concerts. Every setlist I've seen lately they've gone back to playing Swallowed In The Sea. They know it doesn't really work all that well live, while songs like Talk do. Doesn't mean that they don't think that it will work on the radio, though. I've already heard THP played around here.
April 3, 200620 yr or maybe they're on a strike? GO GUYS!!!! Don't talk about strikes .......
April 3, 200620 yr I think it sounds pretty good live, but I have only heard it once in Cinn. I would love to hear it on radio around here! Ever since they came to Detroit this Feb, the stations are playing lots and lots of Coldplay! So the chances are good!
April 3, 200620 yr Here they're still playing Talk on the radios...I would like it to a be a strike :juggle:
April 3, 200620 yr "...he just hugged me backstage' date=' which was, to be honest, arousing"[/i'] LMFAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! :laugh4: :laugh4: :laugh4: God, I love him! :laugh4: :wacky: Me too! Sounded a bit 'rehearsed' though, which is a shame...
April 3, 200620 yr They were awesome!! I loved the British way Chris was like..."do you have a telephone?" :laugh4: Brilliant performance!!! :D Thanks for this info! I just happened to be listening to the radio this monday morning and I caught the last 2/3rds of Talk being played live, and was wondering if it was the version from the Junos (missed the TV appearance). The "do you have a telephone" was the one defining phrase that I remembered.
April 3, 200620 yr HA, that was hilarious! I just watched Chris' introduction - what a sweetheart! Aww, I wanna hug him! :smug:
April 4, 200620 yr Author ok, two questions: how do I upload a video? and if I have a video in quicktime, and it was recorded up and down, instead of the normal sideways (like, to watch it on the computer, you have to turn your head to the side)... can I change that? as soon as I get some answers, i'll upload the vids... there's one of the performance and one of the speech before the award presentation (to Brian Adams)
April 4, 200620 yr Author sorry, no vid tonight kids... tomorrow-ish did I mention that I'm the one that handed Chris the cell phone when he so cutely asked "does anyone have a telephone?" in a British accent... :):):)
