Ok I kept asking my friends if they were watching the same thing I was watching...WHAT THE HECK WERE THEY THINKING?!

 

I suppose it could be worse but...I was expecting something amazing. Instead I get two OAP's nearly naked, almost exposing themselves.

They've seem very fed up with their enormous fame and the pressures put on them by their record company (Although they'd never come out and say it), coupled with the fact that it's the WORST song on the album (And they know it... they never play it, haven't talked about it once, have never promoted it), AND it's a RADIO ONLY release (Meaning minimal profits will be made) and now this video, which is definatly not Coldplay gold... do you not think it's telling all the exce's and music journalists to shove it?

 

I love it, because I think that was what the motive was and with all four guys laughing and joking around it's a great gesture of comaderie. Also, it's good to see them making fun of themselves. :)

Ahh! I liked this video A LOT. It's hilarious, and someone got it right when they said tongue-in-cheek. Kind of like the video for "Talk," but more out there. That whole damn thing was awesome...Jonny laughing, Guy moving a little more than he usually does, Chris wearing those shades and trying to do a different kind of dancing...awesome!

 

I loved that the song and the video had NOTHING to do with each other. I got it. I always get the feeling that Coldplay could really give two craps about being the biggest band in the world right now, and they are kind of giving a signal to all those pretentious people who are "too cool" for them to sod off.

 

I just love that one of my favorite bands is cool enough to joke around, and be silly when they feel like it. Makes me proud to be a Coldplay fan :)
