November 13, 200817 yr Another Goop entry. She looks cute :) In the last GET newsletter I talked about the importance of what I call my uniform—the basic idea of what I am going to wear every season so I can eliminate daily guess work. Personally, I like to stick to the classics in both my everyday life and in the evening. Whether I am going to meet friends for dinner, a cocktail party or a bigger event, the most classic of classics, the little black dress, never fails me. I have found a few great ones in all different price ranges and each has amazing versatility. It could be Zara, it could be Balenciaga, but a well-cut, well-proportioned black dress has gotten me through many a fashion crisis. Dress #1: Shift Dress Look 1: Wear shift dress alone with a satin bow tied in front, add buckled grey boots. (I chopped off the hemline about 3 inches DIY style. Remember to make it great for you.) Look 2: Wear dress with chunky belt and a pair of tartan boots to achieve a more daytime look. Dress #2: Classic Knee-length Dress Look 1: Wear dress alone with earrings, stacked bracelets and black buckled shoes. Look 2: Wear dress with grey cardigan and vintage skinny belt and/or buckle belt and classic black pumps. Dress #3: Sweater Dress Look 1: Wear dress alone with pink opaque tights and black booties. Dress #4: Ultimate Mini Dress Look 1: Wear dress alone with tights and ankle boots. (This is the dress you save up for and pass down to your daughter because it never goes out of style.) LAST WORD Many of you asked what leggings I was wearing in the last GET – my favorites are made by Alice + Olivia. NEXT WEEK Next week we launch our archives so make sure to go to goop.com if you missed any of our previous emails. ALSO next week I will be sharing recipes for my favorite holiday – Thanksgiving.
November 13, 200817 yr Ahhh the LBD!!!! Total must-have! :D She wears all of them so well!! And those Roger Vivier tartan boots. :wideeyed: To.die.for. I have bright pink tights like that teehee. I have only worn them once because it's rather difficult to find something to go with it. But I'll definitely take Gwynnie's advice! :nice: I'm excited for next weeks, I love Thanksgiving recipes!!

November 14, 200817 yr Two hours of exercise six days a week, and not just exercise but a rather tough workout. I don't know how these people do it. Surely there are better things in life than expending twelve hours a week doing stuff like that
