  • I just wanted to say, after 5 years of being part of the Coldplay fandom, first on Coldplaying, now on Coldplaying, Twitter and other platforms, a wonderful thing happened today: Coldplay followed me

  • I ran away
    I ran away

On this day exactly 5 years ago, a young and innocent person who was just getting really into Coldplay wanted to sign up on a forum called Coldplaying. Faced with the question of what to pick as a use

  • Today exactly 5 years ago, I joined the Coldplaying community and I don't regret that that. To be honest, it's probably one of the best things that have happened in my life! I had never thought I woul

OHHHH YEAH! I forgot about that! I was hoping to any Coldplay since it was the UK and stuff. :laugh4:

I got fooled by that guy, who me, my mom, and my sis thought looked a lot like Chris. Forgot his name though, but he sang Rod Stewart's song. Sorry if that was mentioned already. :laugh4:

one time, when coldplay were coming to australia (so, really, in june - im just making it sound like such a long time ago) they had like an ENTIRE DAY of coldplay specials on one of the music channels. AWESOME! i sat in the same spot for hours! lol. my younger sister was getting a bit like "when will it end?" and my mum was like "well at least they're good to listen to" and im like "YES! mum thinks theyre ok!"

i think that half my anticipation for them to tour oz again is so that there can be heaps of coldplay on tv and radio again... it's great - it's heaven on earth for a coldplay fan when coldplay is played everywhere!

^it sure is!!

So yesterday I was watching the movie Click and the guy turns yellow and he's like "Look at you, all yellow.." :dozey:

Then a few minutes later my dog starts being really annoying and my dad is like "Larry, you are just trouble." :dozey:

So I thought, "what's next, High Speed?"

So I'm watching the movie intently... and some time later the guy starts going forward into time really fast.

And then today I was looking through this fashion magazine and Gwyneth was in it FOUR TIMES!!! And my train of thought when I see her is always Gwyneth->Chris->Coldplay!!

AND a few days ago my friend and I went rock climbing and my friend got stuck at one point and came down, and her face looked exactly like :freak: !!!

edit: Gwyneth was in it five or six times, not four

I just read that article about Coldplay's next album. Where is everyone!?! Am I the only one excited about what Guy said!?! :D But I shouldn't get my hopes up too high...

I know, I was just thinking, OMG, JAN, THE NEXT SHOULD BE OUT BY SUMMER, TOUR, OMG, NEW SONGS, SEEING THEM LIVE SOONER THAN 09.. HAHA.

omg.:D

I am going into hospital Tues for major surgery (total hip replacement) YIKES!... sort of freaking out about this, but I will be taking my mp3 .... it's 100% Coldplay! I know their music will get me through this painful time! And I will miss this website for a few days. But I have been playing CP music alot, it sort of calms me down when I start thinking about getting my bones cut up... "bones sinking like stones", yes, I have this song stuck in my head! :uhoh:

^Good Luck! My... total hip replacement... One thing I noticed last week when I had a very sore throat and a cold, I put on In My Place and for about 3 min. 48 seconds I felt totally healthy. But really, I'm pulling for you! Tell me how it went when you get back. I also offer to bring you virtual tea if you like.

Thanks! I asked the surgeon if he could play Coldplay during the surgery, but he said he doesn't play music, it's too distracting. But he would play it for me after the surgery! OK! :)

first Good Luck to you and hope you recover soon. so that's mean surgeon will not give you a whole body anesthetize?

Well, I understand why they can't play music. Any kind of background noise can be a distraction...and I think that you want him to be as focused as possible!

Good luck on your surgery, airieslady!!!

OMG, I'm watching Family Guy and the dad joined the NFL and so he has a lot of $$$. Well, the mom said, "Do you know how much he spent on that wax sculpture of Harriet Tubman doing Gwyneth Paltrow????"

:laugh3:

Yes, good luck on your surgery, airieslady!!!

was bored... so i made the banner u know see before u...

I'm just listening to past 2005 interviews of Coldplay right now and they played Speed of Sound during one of them interviews and I just somehow appreciated SoS a whole lot more...

funny how not hearing the album version in awhile can make me love it that much more :nice:

Today I was having Sunday lunch with my family and I really wanted to play some Coldplay but I knew I would be told to turn it off by everyone except my father. So I turned on the string quartet tribute to Coldplay and some of my family said they liked it, but then Clocks came on and my Dad loves Clocks but not really any other Coldplay so he asked me "Where did you get the Coldplay song?" And then my sister looks over at me like :annoyed: but then all my family asked me things about Coldplay and I told the whole story about how they got the name Coldplay, and they asked things like "Does Coldplay mean they're penguins?"

Tell tell tell!!! :D

...pretty please :)

Is it the article that said they'll be trying out a bunch of new material in South America that's set to go on their fourth album? Or is there another one that I've missed?? I love it when ppl start buzzing about new songs!:laugh3: :laugh3: :laugh3:

i'm excited for the Latin Americans going to the concerts there... how amazing will it be, being basically the first to hear new songs... There is a new article thingy about the fourth album now though. that may be what's being referred to.

everytime i watch Will & Grace and Will's mum (who is played by Gwyneth's mum) is on the show, im always like "in real life, her son-in-law is Chris Martin! Wow!".
