  • I just wanted to say, after 5 years of being part of the Coldplay fandom, first on Coldplaying, now on Coldplaying, Twitter and other platforms, a wonderful thing happened today: Coldplay followed me

  • I ran away
    I ran away

On this day exactly 5 years ago, a young and innocent person who was just getting really into Coldplay wanted to sign up on a forum called Coldplaying. Faced with the question of what to pick as a use

  • Today exactly 5 years ago, I joined the Coldplaying community and I don't regret that that. To be honest, it's probably one of the best things that have happened in my life! I had never thought I woul

TO RANIA, who asked: Nancy, do you play the piano? I used to - I played the piano for many years, but not for the last couple of years, though.

I used to play the piano when I was a child. My parents had a piano, and many years ago my mother played the piano, but she stopped (I do not know why - I have only heard her play on the piano once). In the Christmas season I played the Christmas tunes, and I had notes for special versions of the Christmas tunes. Last year my mother died, and the house was sold. And there was not enough room for the piano in my apartment. So now, I have no opportunity to play the piano = the special Christmas tunes.

I went shopping today, and everything made me think of Coldplay!

- there was a shirt that said "If you love me, won't you let me know. If not please let me go" so almost exactly like Violet Hill!

- I saw a little girl carrying a yellow balloon :)

- I was at the CD store and I made sure all the Coldplay albums were filed in the right place, and that ROBTTH was in front. Cause it's my favorite

-my friends and I were talking about a book I read where the main characters (note: they were madly in love too:sneaky:) were called EMILY and CHRIS!!!:D

There were more, but I can't remember them all right now! All in all, it was a nice afternoon.

I'm sorry to hear that:cry:.. my heart goes out to you. I hope you get the chance to play piano again in the future - and bring cheer to a room full of people for the Christmas season!

Thanks. Your words are indeed warming my heart.

Every river that I tried to cross

Every door I ever tried was locked... i just got lost

Today my friend and I tried to convert another friend to Coldplay. I was telling her she'd like AROBTTH and she said "Well I do have one album, and it's white" and I said "That's it!". She said she'd listen to the song AROBTTH when she's sad. I guess we'll have to convert her one song at a time

^ Hehe I love "converting" people ;) Ive done it to some, but they are not big fans they just like one or two songs, but I tried! :D

I haven't been here in a long time :(

Sooo...

There is this girl in my class with a nickname Vika and people call her "Viva La Vika" and I asked why and everyone was like, "dont you know the song by coldplay?", I know the song or course duh, but they didn't really answer

My friend took me to New Moon, I am not a big Twilight fan but before it started I saw 2 previews with Coldplay in them, I am starting to gain a bit of the fangirlism back, I am realizing how extremly good looking they are :wink3:

^Amen to that :sneaky:

and omg someone on seinfeld just said "yellow" and I smiled :wacky:

Today I was running late for work (It's Friday, gimme a break ;)) and for some reason, just as I was opening the door to hustle on outa there, I stopped and said "I need to listen to In My Place on my way to work! :o" So I turned around, went back to my Wall of Coldplay, found the RoBttH CD, grabbed the rest of my stuff, turned the car on, put in the CD, found In My Place, and only then did I pull out of the driveway.

I listened to it twice on the way there and sang along with enthusiasm! I still don't know WTF compelled me on this particular day. ;) But it was interesting.

(edit: non-CP related, but Snow Patrol's Lightning Strike is my absolute favorite driving-home song. With all three parts it is the perfect length for my commute and I'm always happy and energized when I get there. :nice:)

I saw Coldplay on the big screen while watching New Moon today :nice:

It was for Disney's Sing It though :annoyed:

I was in pilates with my friend and she was complaining that all the blood was going to her feet as we were doing one exercise and I'm like "Blame it all upon, a rush of blood to the feet"

While searching the internet for pictures for the Chris thread, I came across this

My friend and I were talking about the Boston Tea Party, and we decided that their victory marching song should be Viva la Vida. Haha

Really big things happening right now. My "Post Per Day" is at 0.42 (not to be proud of), number 42 has joined the Jonnycake group and...

THIS IS MY 100th POST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My heart is beating very fast right now...

I am obsessed. BUT it is my freaking 100th post! Yaaaay!

^ Congrats! :D

I'm also celebrating a Coldplaying milestone today - I'VE OFFICIALLY BEEN A MEMBER FOR A YEAR! :D

Unlike a few other forums I visit, my life is probably better from Coldplaying. So thanks everyone!

congrats guys :D

Viva la vida was playing today on the sports show just before the second half of the Irish vs. Fiji rugby match :D

I was galloping my horse on the race track today and was singing the scientist it was so much fun!!

also i have found a new respect for Violet hill, Like most it was the first viva song i heard so i didn't really like it as much as soon as i started listening to the other stuff. But i have now realized how genius and meaningful it is!!

Also even though i have known this for the past 3 years ish it has been here i just realized today that our bus system here is called the Viva! which is pretty cool!

"Today, I was shopping for scarves as it's getting quite cold in London now. I was looking at a wall of scarfs, trying to decide between the orange one or the yellow one when 'Yellow' by Coldplay came onto the shop music system. I looked over to the check out desks and saw the manager winking at me. I'm still scared he read my mind, but I'm the proud new owner of a yellow scarf. MLIA."

I saw this on mlia.com and screamed
