For one of the gift cards I received for christmas, I ordered the Nirvana box set, With The Lights Out. I thought it was just fabulous. Demos, outtakes, acoustic versions. It's fantastic. I hope they make something like that for Coldplay some day.

I have it too and it is a must for anyone who's into Nirvana. The DVD is cool too

On the DVD, I really liked the performances of "Teen Spirit" and "Jesus Doesn't Want Me For A Sunbeam". All three CD's are brilliant.

dunno ... but i think nirvana is the most overrated band i know ...

 

sure, they have a few good songs like ... heartshaped box, penny royal tea ...

(i loved their Lake Of Fire cover) but i don't think they were as great as everyone says .... :dozey:

i gave a listen to their albums some months ago, it was good, but at some point i found most songs similar to others :\ i mean i ended listening few songs after the previous massive listening.

My older brother is a die-hard Nirvana fan. I think I remember seeing that journal at home, I just remember a bunch of 8-year old writings and sketches. I assure there's nothing overtly profound about it. The handwriting is terrible :shame:, but it was sort of fun to thumb through.

I have a poster of kurt in my room, its on to of my bed..on the wall, not on the ceiling. its so nice! I want to get another poster with all of them there.

I personally think Nirvana are one of the best, Even better than Radiohead!! And Ari I used to think that but just take a step back and listen to a few a times and hopefully you'll see how brilliant they are!!
