September 20, 200619 yr God, nothing against American bands or artists but it's called European Music Awards! It's so unfair, because there are so many great bands in Europe, besides the UK. The local votes are very interesting though. I can't understand why "Rammstein" is always nominated for best German Act. There are some better ones... But I'm content with the fact that "Silbermond" is nominated. Their song "Unendlich" is incredible. I'm excited about who's going to win in the Netherlands. I really hope it will be "Kane", but "Anouk" is also a great Dutch artist. Unfortunately "Mando Diao" isn't 1 of 5 bands to vote in Sweden, so I would give my vote to "The Sounds". It could have been so European...
November 2, 200619 yr So.. The awards have just started, I'm actually only tuning in to see The Killers performing.. I agree with all of you, it's a pity there aren't enough European acts involved! But it's about what Europeans enjoy listening to - so it's more like a pity that most European still listen to so much American crap :P
November 2, 200619 yr I liked Justin's "Sexy Back" at the beginning and The Killers performance was great! "When You Were Young" is my favourite song of the new album. Muse, Depeche Mode and Gnarls Barkley just got awards.
