After much editing I think I finally have the order for the albums down. Who knows? I'm looking forward to the results Nik.

good, briggins that helps a lot, thanks ;)

the results look like to be very predictable. i probably already can tell the 10 artists which will make the top 10 without counting the votes, but yeah i'm looking forward to it, too

btw another 6 lists would be great, we could reach the majestic 50

My list is on it's way, but I'd first like to take a moment to protest (read whine REALLY LOUDLY) the omission of We Are Scientists' album.

According to memory, and every source I've checked (and I've checked many), it was released on:

January 10th, 2006

Even one of the links that was posted for double checking says so:

http://allmusic.com/cg/amg.dll?p=amg&sql=10:47d4vwnea9uk

In other words, NOT in 2005. I haven't seen any of the European release dates, sometimes they are different, but even if it was released there sooner, what is happening is that anyone on this side of the pond would be effectively banned from voting for it either in 2006 or 2005, because we wouldn't have heard it last year. (Was there even a list last year?)

With Love and Squalor has shown up on almost every best of list I've seen this year, and I think it deserves to be on our list too.
